- it was very well organized (everything worked out as it was planned) - the B&Bs were well chosen (friendly hosts, very clean rooms, quality breakfast, well located) - the material provided was very helpful (contained the information needed for food, organization and the hike) - always quick and friendly replies; flexible reaction to ideas/wishes

We walked the West Highland Way on a 7 day itinerary. Absolute Escapes did an excellent job planning our trip. It was trouble free.

Lottie kept in close contact with us and always promptly responded to email correspondence.

Absolute Escapes organized our Honeymoon to perfection! Their service was excellent and our wishes were completely fullfilled. The chosen accomodations were all superb. At the end of our honeymoon, we were even surprised by a champagne bottle and a lovely letter by the Absolute Escapes Team - they truely went above and beyond to make it a honeymoon to remember!

Scotland has long been at top of my list to visit. Being very much an active outdoors person, I wanted to see the country - especially the Highlands, be immersed in nature - and, do it in a more 'pampered way'. I worked with Zoe and Absolute Escapes to plan the perfect self-guided walk of the West Highland Way -(WHW) staying at premium B&B's and taking full advantage of the dependable baggage service. Also, planned the schedule for lots of sight seeing and just enjoying the people.

I found Absolute Escapes on the web during my research for a trip to Scotland. They are phenomenal to work with! I had lots of questions, explored options and made changes a few times! Zoe Kirkbride and team were extremely knowledgeable and helpful - as well as patient! I have already and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for self-guided walks. And, I've already started researching my next booking with them!

Annual walking tour for 4 friends (age range 64 - 69). This year Causeway Coast. 3rd time we have used Absolute Escapes and the itinerary and organisation was as excellent as ever. Will certainly use AE again next year. Causeway Coast was spectacular and we (unexpectedly) had great weather. A hugely enjoyable holiday.

I walked the John Muir way from North Berwick to Dunbar and from there followed the Berwickshire coast path to Berwick-Upon-Tweed. It was absolutely wonderful - I enjoyed every minute of it. So thanks to excellent organisation, Absolute escapes' flexibility and the great service, it was a great holiday. Everything worked out fine, the recommendations were really helpful, the taxi and luggage shuttles were no problem at all, and the accommodations were definitely very pleasant places to to stay.

Andy at Absolute Escapes was terrific. He made me a customized holiday just for me. When I had on-the-fly changes because of Covid he was able to deftly change my reservations.
