I did a solo five day walk along the south west coast path at very short notice just before the end of the season.

Absolute Escapes were an excellent company to deal with: prompt, timely, professional, friendly and reliable. The information provided in advance, the accommodation booked, and the support along the way were all of a very high standard. Sadly, they couldn't fix the weather! I would definitely use them again.

The holiday went very well. We were impressed by the rigour which all the guesthouse owners showed in complying with the Covid restrictions. We always felt very safe.

The booking arrangements went smoothly and communications before and during the tour were very good.The itinerary was comprehensive with very useful recommendations for places to eat and sources of additional information.

All stopovers more than adequate.

Responsive to queries. Extensive information available on website and in correspondence.

We flew to Glasgow and then walked the West Highland Way to Fort William over 5 days staying at different hotels each night with our luggage transported between each stop. All the hotels/B and B's were great and coped with Covid restrictions remarkably well. It was a great trip.

Excellent in all respects. Communication was brilliant, organisation of the trip was faultless and price very competitive. Would highly recommend and have no hesitation to book with them again.

we used absolute escapes for our recent 5 day adventure on the West Highland way. Everything worked perfectly and even when there was an accommodation issue for one of our nights due to uncertain times, we were catered for perfectly and taxis arranged to pick us up . All of our accommodation was perfect and some even outstanding (for budget). Thank you Caitlin and all the team for looking after us and would highly recommend .

They helped us plan our self-drive holiday with enormous attention to detail as to our route, the types of accommodation, the timings of ferries, things to see, places to eat. You name it, they had it covered. The result was a truly relaxing and exciting holiday that "just worked" on all levels. No need to go to New Zealand now - Scotland has it all, and more!

We walked the Offa’s Dyke Path and Absolute Escapes organised it at only 3 weeks’ notice (COVID had meant we had to cancel a walking holiday in France). All accommodations, information and arrangements worked really well.

We walked 8 days on the Southern Upland Way from west of Moffat to the eastern end at Cockburnspath, then from Lindisfarne to Melrose for 4 days on the St Cuthbert's Way. Weather was generally good, the scenery is lovely and the accommodation excellent. The only slight downside was some long sections of tarmac and hard farm track ,especially from Lindisfarne to Wooler, but that is not the fault of the operator

it organised all the accommodation, baggage transfers, some taxi journeys and provided maps and all necessary information. Everything ran smoothly

We have just walked the West Highland Way in uncertain times Absolute Escapes were brilliant always keeping us updated of the most recent changes. All the accommodation was clean and all abiding by the current rules. Absolute Escapes provided us with a very good info pack and our baggage handler and return taxi were also well organised.

Absolute Escapes were always in contact with us during the forever changing current climate, always quick to respond to our emails and help solve our questions.

Self guided 5 day / 6 night programme.. Absolute Escapes arranged itinerary, accommodatio, baggage transfer and taxi transfers. At this difficult time (Covid 19) it all worked without a hitch.

They are excellent. We got what we paid for. Friendly and accommodating.
