A wonderful week walking in Cairngorms National Park

As a walking holiday newbie I was nervous about taking on a seven-day-in-a-row walking trip. Would I be able to keep up? Would it be too much? I prepared as much as I could ... and it was one of the best weeks of my life! The trails were manageable - a bit difficult sometimes, but I liked being pushed a bit. My fellow travelers and I got on beautifully, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the accommodations were very comfortable. But the star of the week was the setting; I was awed by the beauty of the Scottish Highlands and will be wearing out my friends and family talking about this place.

Rating for tour operator:

Wilderness Scotland was organized and responsive. I had all the information I needed to prepare for the trip, and the trip itself was run very smoothly. My guide was knowledgeable and always one step ahead of us with plans and information; he was a gem. I can't imagine the week going better than it did.

Truly epic!

This is my second sea kayaking trip with Wilderness Scotland. The West Coast of Scotland is the most beautiful place to kayak and Wilderness Scotland provide exceptional guides who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience not only of sea kayaking but also the local area.

Excellent active holiday in a small group with a fun experienced local guide

It was a 6-day small group (6 people) tour of the Orkney islands wish guided visits to historical sites and hours of scenic hiking daily, which was just what I wanted. Our guide was excellent!. If you want an ACTIVE holiday and not just be stuck in a bus or van with a big group, Wilderness Scotland is the way to go.

Very responsive by email and our guide was excellent. I would rate the tour a 10/10 but the accommodations were too luxurious for my taste and budget. Otherwise perfect.

Kayaking around the Atlantic Way on the Ardnamurchan Peninsular.

A six day holiday kayaking in remote parts of the Ardnamurchan Peninsular in Scotland with experienced guides, staying in guest houses and an inn. Beautiful part of Scotland, lots of wildlife, history and stunning scenery. This is Scotland, so the weather can be unpredictable and we experienced some challenges on this trip, but Wilderness Scotland take very good care of you.
