It was a women's group who hadn't met each other before. We all bonded immediately and our guide was warm and friendly and very experienced. we hiked in all weathers, visited reindeer , had a great yoga instructor come in for much needed stretching and even went wild swimming with an experienced instructor who shared stories of swimming the channel. Great accommodation and wonderful food.

This was my 4th walking holiday with Wilderness Scotland. This time it was their women’s retreat in the Cairngorms. Hill-walking, yoga, wild swimming, educational about navigation and rewillding, good food and accommodations in a beautiful mountain lodge…every aspect of the trip was engaging and great fun.

Wilderness Scotland is the best and I’ve traveled with them several times. Their guides are highly skilled and careful thought and planning goes into every step of the trip.

I felt supported in every step of the preparation for this holiday and treated with kindness, respect, and good humor by my guides and fellow travelers.

Wilderness Scotland is a first class operation and ran a great tour for me.

I spent 8 days in the Hebrides with Paul, our guide, and seven fit and fun folks. We hiked up huge hills and connected summits together. We watched eagles fly, saw porpoises, seals and orcas swim, learned about the local peoples history, visited the Harris Distillery, and marveled at magical standing stones. Our accommodations were at Soval Lodge, a cottage in a storybook setting with a top notch staff. All around the trip was terrific and I am so grateful to have experienced Scotland in this way.
