We went on the West Highland Way adventure through Wilderness Scotland.

A group of 6 women aged 55-72 took a kayak and hiking and higland games trip around Scotland.

Wilderness Scotland was our tour operator. The team was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. It was a blast. We learned a lot of new things, had a ton of fun, and did some great kayaking. We also laughed a lot and got rescued. I always felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wilderness Scotland team was experienced and knowledgeable. Our guide was great with the variety of skill levels in our group.

I planned a private kayaking trip with Wilderness Scotland with the help of Chris Page, their Adventure Consultant. Six women arrived of somewhat different kayaking experience levels, and we were carefully outfitted, evaluated, coached, and then led by excellent skilled, capable, and friendly guides, on four days of west Highland paddling on supremely beautiful lochs and inlets. We had wonderful accommodation and meals. We even took in a Highland Games on the Isle of Skye.

Wilderness Scotland was professional, courteous, capable, and delivered more than I was promised for my holiday, in that I never expected my kayak guide to be a classically trained musician, or a skilled kayak instructor. Once we were picked up at our starting point in Inverness, the rest of the trip was carefree for us. I always felt as if we were in very good hands. All plans were well carried out and seamless.
