I appreciated the insight presented of the need to protect the natural world around us, and on how everything is linked.

All aspects of our trip with Wilderness Scotland were very well thought out. We were very well looked after; the accommodation, food, transport, all excellant. There was a variety of habitats to enjoy each day and we always felt safe and well looked after by our guide.

Our itinerary was 4 nights/5 days from Inverness to Orkney Mainland and back. In very challenging weather Wilderness Scotland and our guide Mark Cox were absolute professionals and delivered a fun, memorable experience.

I feel very fortunate that we did this tour with Wilderness Scotland. First, our guide, who has many years experience with this operator, was simply great. Second, Wilderness had to do a lot of work behind the scenes as weather impacted our itinerary and they did not let us down. Just a great experience all around.

This small group wildlife and walking trip was just perfect. Highlights were a visit to the Beaver centre in Knapdale, sea eagles and amazing coastal scenery on Islay. Accommodation and food was excellent and we were very well looked after by our guide.

Our guide was the best! He shared so much information about the Highlands. We learned so much of the history and about the local flora and fauna. It really made it extra special.

We took a “self-guided” cycling tour through the Inner Hebrides. Finlay Sutherland, our bike hire and route guide ensured we were all well equipped and experienced the landscape to the fullest!

Our group of friends engaged Wilderness Scotland to embark on a five day hiking expedition through the Highlands. It was a wonderful experience to walk through various areas around Fort Augustus and see the wilderness up close and personal. The general itinerary was provided in advance, so we knew approximately how many miles and hours we would be hiking each day. We were able to prepare for this and we truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

Wilderness Scotland and our guide Scott McCabe were excellent throughout the whole process. Wilderness Scotland kept good contact with us prior to the trip, and Scott was exceptional in his ability to guide us through the Highlands and teach us something new every day.
