Excellent organisation, accommodation and food. And a friendly and knowledgable guide, Joe Mann, whose contribution could not have been bettered.

As I stated above - the Mike and Mark Show was fabulous, epic, educational, physically challenging. Perfect for me and our entire group! We will be back!

Walking on the Knoydart peninsula with trips to Eigg and Skye
I was part of a group of eight walkers who stayed at Doune Lodge on a five-day walking trip run by Wilderness Scotland. We scaled a hill of between 450 and 780 metres on each day of the trip, delivered by boat to some of our starting points. We ate excellently at Doune Lodge.

Wilderness Scotland provided a guide for the length of the trip, who was really excellent.

Epic Orkney
Spring time in Orkney had all the weather mixed into one. Wind++ Snow, and sunshine everyday. Learning about Neolithic sites on Orkney is an all world experience.

Wilderness Scotland. Very good pre-trip information and and an excellent guide. The actual itinerary matched well with what was advertised, a good mix of travel to various sites and hiking at the sites. The trip accommodations (hotels and meals) were excellent.

Wilderness Scotland organised the trip very well. Good planning, nice accommodation, good food.

Fabulous ! (even if very, very rainiy !!!)
Good hiking. Faboulous landscape. Two extremeky nice hotels; one absolutely disastrous, the rest average Very authentic pubs. Scotland is obviously not the place to look for perfect lodging and excellent food, so don't hesitate to book the finest accomodation if you can. It's worth it. Overall, the people are quite nice and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. It's worth it.

The operator still has to fix a very bad experience at one of the Inns. We still expect a reaction from him. If he reacts positively, we will be able to say that everything was (nearly) perfect. If not... well... he would be just average. This is why it's "only" a 6 out of 10 for the time being. It could climb to 9 - 10 !!!
