Everything was planned by McKinlay Kidd. It was a wonderful experience. And will do another tour with them soon as well.

We had McKinley Kidd organise our great tour of Scotland by rail. We saw most of the country even the places most wouldn’t think to go. Had a few issues with ScotRail but MKK sorted alternative ie buses instead so we didn’t miss a thing. mKK packages everything up on the Vamoos app complete with a detailed daily planner so you can’t do wrong. All our taxi drivers and hotel keepers were ready and waiting for us. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of our accommodation and excursions. We will use MKK again to plan Ireland. We didn’t know it but you can ask them to tweak a set holiday or ask them to organise what you want to do

They stayed in touch with us via WhatsApp which was good because no all eSIMs allow phone calls. They reply at all hours in case you get into trouble. Don’t have to worry about business hours to speak to someone from MKK. They will even book your reservations for dinner! Just have to ask

Excellently organised tour of Scotland with good accommodation, well planned itinerary by rail and ferry and good excursions with knowledgeable local tour guides. Everything to make the holiday memorable was considered.

Starting in Glasgow, we toured Scotland for three weeks using Scotrail as the primary transportation... Accommodations, other transportation and organized tours at various locations were all arranged for us and without exception were first class. We also had recommendations for dining and activities at each stop which we used extensively... We saw so much but never felt any stress about the trip... it was truly a vacation for us.

McKinlay Kidd organized the entire trip for us, with the exception of a couple of 'extra' days that we added in where we looked after our itinerary.... They were very flexible in making the days work for us and ensuring that we were well looked after... Their app that was our online guide was fabulous, it even gave us weather forecasts! We did run into other "McKinlay Kidd" folks as we travelled, but throughout the trip it seemed to be a tour for just us... We didn't run into any issues where we needed anything changed/updated but did appreciate knowing that support was always there.

The Grand Train Tour of Scotland organized by McKinlay Kid is excellent, every day you experience something new and exciting, excursions and accommodation were first-rate and very well-organized.

We had a wonderful travel experience throughout Scotland. The weather was fabulous, our accommodation and hosts were all excellent, and traveling by train was an stress-free way to see the country. McKinley Kidd did an excellent job of coordinating every aspect of the trip, right down to a minor glitch our last day of travel. I would highly recommend using their expertise.

Our first time in Scotland and we decided not to drive and instead took the railway tour. Was very happy with McKinley kids selection of accommodations extra tours and overall area of Scotland.

I started with a Victoria but Lucy helped us during her actual tour with a couple of glitches. Very happy they answered lots of questions and I felt prepared and ready to go ahead of time

The 14 day tour captured the key gems of Scotland incorporating a number of islands - Isle of Staffa, Iona, Mull, Skye and Orkney. The tour was comprehensive and well balanced from a time perspective underpinned by quality organisation, research, accommodation and content including back up plans in the event of adverse weather.

McKinlay and Kidd delivered a highly professional and value packed tour backed up with great communication, support and flexibility. It was evident that McKinlay and Kidd have a great and respectful relationship with their service providers that was evident at all times during the tour.

From the 27 Aug to the 12 of Sep, my wife, Karen and I toured Scotland by rail on a tour organised by the superstars at McKinley Kidd. It was outstanding! The organisation, the accommodation, tours and information were first class! We cannot recommend this tour highly enough!
