Self drive Blyde River Canyon and Kruger.

We had a well planned trip that went without hitch, up to the usual standard of Rob and the team. All the accommodations were of an excellent standard and appropriate to our needs. Travel information and timings were spot on - making for a leisurely, stress free holiday.

Safari consultants have organised a number of trips for us over the years and we would not consider going to Africa with anyone else. We especially appreciate their sensitivity to our needs and our budget. We regularly recommend them highly to fellow travellers an acquaintances.

Zambia- exploring the South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi

In south stayed in 3 camps over 7 days with private guide and vehicle, excellent game viewing throughout with a number of very special sightings. All the camps gave first class accommodation, food and hospitality. In Lower Zambezi we stayed in 2 camps and again had some exceptional game viewing and bird watching. Both camps gave excellent service

For the past 15 years Safari Consultants have organised our trips to Africa, and we have never had the slightest problem. Their service is informed and based on personal contact with us and as importantly with the camps and lodges we visit. We would not consider using anyone else.

Super Safari in Tanzania

We had a two centre 10 day holiday in East Tanzania. The organization was brilliant and the accommodation fantastic. We saw plenty of wildlife. The guides/drivers were very knowledgeable and could answer every question about the wildlife and plantlife that we asked.

Tanzania Safaris and Beach

A 22 day holiday to Tanzania and Zanzibar taking in Ras Kutani, Selous and Ruaha safaris and ending at Echo Beach in Zanzibar. Everything was exceptional in every way. Flights, accommodation, food, guides and staff could not be faulted and made this holiday an outstanding experience.

Safari Consultants had listened to our requirements and put together a package that exceeded our expectations. This is the 2nd time we have used them and would highly recommend them for their expertise, friendly approach and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble.

A collection of memorable firsts

The trip was to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and it was our first time in Kenya and our first safari. We were looked after at the two Kicheche camps, Laikipia and Kicheche Valley extremely well and were made to feel so welcome. Both are on conservancies and we were very impressed by the commitment of all the staff to the objectives of the organisation and their genuine interest in what we saw and experienced. We saw far more types of animals than we ever expected and were amazed to see something new even on the last morning (two young monitor lizards)consequently our list of firsts is too long to mention!! A wonderful holiday.

Rating for tour operator:

At the outset listened to what we hoped for, asked lots of questions and then offered constructive and sensible advice to help narrow down what would give us the best trip. Responded quickly and was always available to speak to.

Fantastic 11night safari in Kenya

We stayed at three different locations in Kenya, two luxury tented bush camps and a bush house. All the accommodation was well run, comfortable and the game viewing and guiding was excellent.

We have travelled with Safari Consultants many times over the last 17 years or so. We have have always been amazed and impressed by their knowledge, attention to detail and customer care. Every detail is meticulously planned (and with a safari moving to three or more camps in Africa, there are many details) we have never experienced any problems. I would strongly recommend anyone to travel with Safari Consultants.

bascially I asked Safari Consultants to arrange a holiday where I would be walking in the three Conservancy areas whilst fly camping in the Bush. I am pleased to say I got exactly what I asked for spending on average 6 hours per day walking (resting up when it was too hot). Being in foot allowed for instances such as (1) tracking two male lion for best part two hours and then after it was clear to the local guide they had split, he only peeked round a thicket to find one of them sunbathing his undercarriage about 15/20 yards away and it did not know we were there until his brother roared from 40/50 yards away and they both ran off. (2) getting into a downwind position from a mother white rhino and her sub adult kids (3 years and 6 years per the guide) and they finally realised something was there when we were 15 yards apart. The mother for a minute or two continously put one step forward and then back again as if she was indecisive as to charge but clearly could not see what we were . The guide finally clicked his fingers and the rhino retreated 30 yards or so and then stared at us as if to think "what the hell was that"

cleary they took the time to understand my requirements and am very pleased to state that I got what I asked for.
