My daughter and I did this trip the first week of October 2025. The whole experience was incredible, from the little villages, to the lodging and wonderful hosts to the food and finally the weather-it could not have been better. The hikes each day were strenous but shorter options were always available. The information booklet as well as the daily hiking step by step instructions were excellent.

On Foot Holidays was incredibly thorough and professional through every phase of the trip. When we had questions, they were immediately responsive to our needs. Our contact in the area was also very helpful and responsive.

A six day walking trip in the Marina Alta region of Spain inland between Valencia and Alicante. Walking about 15 km per day (average 5 to 7 hours of walking) in beautiful mountainous area. Very friendly and welcoming hosts in small villages along the way. The maps and the App provided by On Foot are top class and the local rep was extremely responsive to any questions.

Everything was terrific! The accommodations were all in special lodges. Food was great throughout. The walk was lovely and well-laid out with good technical support from On Foot Holidays. Even the weather cooperated.

On Food provided great assistance, including reviewing the walking route after forest fires in the region to make sure it was still safe and scenic.

We hiked with OnFoot Holidays on the islands of Naxos and Amorgos. We should have booked extra days to do all the hikes and to have time to take in the local sites. Our hotels were excellent, the support we got from OnFoot lived up to it's reputation for excellence. We ended our hiking vacation with 4 days in Athens, staying at the Academias Hotel. We took a tour of the Acropolis and the Museum with Athens Walking Tours. Couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.

This is our third hike with OnFoot. We can't say enough good things about them. From booking the holiday to walking our final hike, they provided all the support we needed. They offer adventure at a real value. This was the first time we used the new app and we found it really helpful, particularly the GPS support for our hikes. They always ask us for feedback so they can continue to improve their vacations. We think they are pretty perfect!

A week of self guided walking in varied beautiful countryside. From coast to coast and in the Cilento national park, stepping back in time to a slower pace and a distinct lack of other tourists. Lovely food, well chosen accommodation and each day bringing new terrain and new pleasures.

I have been walking with On Foot now for nearly 20 years and return to them each time for the consistently good service and the creatively put together routes. Each holiday has been different and each one a great success. Hats off to On Foot.

We hiked on Naxos and Amorgos with On Foot Holidays and it was amazing. We had plenty of information ahead of time to review the route options and decide on the hikes for each day. The maps and background information on the islands was also extremely helpful in planning our trip and knowing what to expect. The routes were challenging and varied and took us through small villages and rural landscapes, up and down mountainsides, and to beaches and gorges, The lodging was conveniently located in town and we stayed at smaller, family-run hotels where we had nice rooms and excellent service. We were given local restaurant suggestions and information about the ferries, both of which were helpful. There was transportation to and from hikes that did not originate or end in town, which gave us the opportunity to see more of the islands. We used the hiking GPS app and that worked well, so we were able to stay on track even if the path was not clearly marked.

On Foot Holidays was helpful from the start and made planning the trip easy. We got plenty of information about the trip online and in a packet that arrived by post several weeks prior to our departure. We had ongoing support throughout the trip and the staff was responsive to our queries. Afterwards, they have been helpful in debriefing and responding to feedback about the trip. I would highly recommend On Foot Holidays as a tour operator.

I like this tour operator and have used them before in Spain. They provide quick responses to queries, have a good app with maps etc and provide a local representative in each country which is very useful and very reassuring.
