Excellent experience all round, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked a self guided walking holiday along the Amalfi Coast, plus added on three extra days, one in Sant' Agata, and two in Sorrento. Our walk took us to the villages and towns of Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano, Positano, Sant' Agata, Massa Lubrense, Sorrento, and a hike high into the Vallee delle Ferriere. We also visited Pompeii and the Isle of Capri.

On Foot Holidays really put the effort into ensuring that all aspects of the holiday were a pleasure, from the transfer details, hotels, self guided walking trip notes and maps, general information regarding your location, plus eating and drinking recommendations. We felt as though we had a permanent guide with us, although we were on our own! Their staff per a pleasure to deal with, their customer service was second to none. We're looking forward to travelling with them again.

Walking the Amalfi coast was a fantastic experience with breathtaking views and wonderful little towns with lovely food and wine.

The walking holiday was expertly planned and expertly executed by On Foot holidays. The hotels were wonderful and the walking was fabulous with detailed, accurate and up to date instructions and maps. I highly recommend On Foot holidays for anyone interested in a walking holiday.

We spent six days walking from village to village using On Foot's meticulously detailed route notes and thoroughly enjoyed the terrain, the physical challenge, the scenery, and the hospitality of the Catalonian innkeepers On Foot arranged as part of this holiday. Walking inn to inn while having the tour operator take care of transporting our luggage each day is a perfect way for us to experience the sense of discovery and adventure we value while remaining totally carefree.

This second holiday with On Foot confirmed our opinion of the company as exceptionally reliable and attentive to detail. The staff are very knowledgeable responsive to special requests, and having local support on the ground during the walk is a reassuring bonus. On Foot is better than any other similar companies we have travelled with, and we recommend them unreservedly.

Exceptional and Thorough Planning of ALL Arrangements: Arrival Transporation from Naples to Amalfi ALL HOTELS were Standard - Not Upgrades - and Met or Exceeded Expectations Trekking Narrative and Maps were "Spot On" and Offered Alternatives for the "Aged" I really want On Foot Holidays acknowledged for their "cradle to grave" exceptional service.

Tour Operators based at On Foot Holidays were ALL exceptional. We did not have an on-site, day to day Tour Operator. Emergency Contact was only need one time for a minor matter which was immediately address concerning transportation from Sorrento to Naples.

Hike between the hill-top cities in Tuscany. Beautiful scenery, beautiful hotels, nice food and lovely wine.

They went above and beyond of what I had expected. Apart from the fact that it was organized perfectly and the locations and hotels were stunning, they stayed in touch to make sure that everything was perfect. I felt very well cared for and will surely go with onfootholidays again.

I hiked with three childhood friends, celebrating our respective 70th birthdays. We enjoyed every element of the holiday. The scenery and trails were splendid; the hotels in each of the villages were lovely; the recommendations for places to eat lunch or dinner all worked out well for us; and the weather in late April was perfect -- a little cool but we warmed up quickly as we hiked. On Foot Holidays did a terrific job of organizing the entire trip, arranging our pick-up and drop-off at the airport in Naples and staying in close touch with us as we planned the holiday during the prior six months. I would recommend them highly to other hikers and hope to have an opportunity to take some of their other trips.

On Foot Holidays carefully and thoroughly explained to us every aspect of our trip and made sure we were well prepared for our hiking trip. They replied very promptly to all our e-mails, despite the time differences between the US and UK, and answered all our questions in a timely manner. They have also encouraged us to provide feedback after the trip and have made sure that any concerns (we had very few) were addressed. On the trails we met a few other hikers who were also using On Foot Holidays for their arrangements, and all were uniformly very pleased with On Foot's operations.

Very friendly and personal. Very knowledgeable. Extremely well organised. Responded to, and informed us efficiently of, last minute problems. When a path was closed they researched [and walked] an alternative route and sent detailed maps and walking instructions to us in France - quite outstanding.
