A short, rather too short, birdwatching trip to Lake Kerkini in North Greece. Delightful non touristy lake without tourists made burdwatching in the warm sun much easier. That plus Georgos, excellent local guide. He also filled us in with excellent history and found us wonderful food too!

Naturetrek were so useful in keeping my paperwork simple, they also were helpful in recommending this holiday when my original holiday plans were thwarted by a war not far away, and they valued my safety.

This was bought as a Xmas present for my wife who is very interested in funghi.

A magical trip watching orangutan in the wild in different areas of Borneo, whilst walking, driving and by riverboat. And the chance to identify many other mammals, birds and reptiles indigenous to the area on both day and night walks. The Malaysian hospitality and welcome was exceptional as were the lodges we stayed in and the cuisine. Our guides were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and always on hand to ensure we had the best possible experience.

Naturetrek were first class from beginning to end. Their website answered all the questions clients would normally have to ask initially and when speaking to any member of staff all were very knowledgeable and helpful from the planning stages right through to my return.

A 10 day wildlife watching tour to Kenya. Whilst the main objective was to search out the exciting animals to be seen on Kenya's wide open plains the trip was memorably varied. A day in Nairobi, a stay by Lake Naivasha followed by the magnificent Masai Mara made for a wonderful trip. The organisation was excellent and accommodation perfect - all the facilities one might need but in a wonderfully African setting.

If you are looking for a tour operator who always answers the phone (no numbers to press, no music, just a real person!), who produces a sumptuous brochure, provides excellent pre-trip information, is always friendly and helpful (and tolerant!), and in our experience comes up with a wonderful holiday experience, then Naturetrek are the company for you.

Expert naturalist-guided Naturetrek tour looking autum flowers, insects, birds, stunning scenery in the Peloponnese. Also comfortable accommodation and excellent food. Tour members all like-minded enthusiasts.

Naturetrek planning and organising excellent. Pre-tour information very helpful. Have excellent naturalist/tour leaders who have perfectly planned routes to see all the expected highlights plus a lot more. Have previous tour reports online so have a very good idea of what will be seen.

I had a fantastic tour in Queensland, followed by some other activities, including a subsequent short tour in East Gippsland.

Naturetrek did a great job organising the tour and keeping me informed during the two years wait, due to covid.

I travelled by Eurostar to Gard du Nord. Our guide was waiting for me with a mini bus. The locations were super with delicious local produce for all meals, including wine. The group was a good mix of ages and experience. It was a bird watching holiday and it didn't disappoint. I saw many new species and had amazing views of thousands of cranes daily. importantly for me I had time to relax as well.

Naturetrek were brilliant. Everything went smoothly from booking to returning home. Our guide was knowledgeable and made sure we were all included.

Romania Danube Delta &Carpathian Mountains. bird watching. We saw so much included bear watching, tour exceeded my expectations. Group size was perfect and had a lot of fun. Naturetrek team took the trouble to change my return flight airport, not easy given all the difficulties with flight changes at that time.

Naturetrek are specialist nature tours and everything is so well thought out and suited to the group. I’m planning more tours with them next year.

This was our covid-delayed 50th birthday present to ourself and we had an absolutely fantastic time. We booked a package deal with Naturetek which included British Airways flights and a fully guided 7-day safari in Kruger NP, South Africa with Lawson's Safaris. The 2 x guides provided by Lawson's were absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly and great fun to be with. The wildlife was stunning - we saw the Big 5 mammals (on 1 day we bagged all 5 before breakfast!). Although this was a mamal-themed tour we also saw 192 species of bird!
