Very knowledgeable and very considerate leaders who ensured amazing birding despite appalling weather!

We visited some truly idyllic locations, which offered peace and tranquillity - ideal for birdwatching, despite the appalling rain and gusty winds. Thanks to our very knowledgeable tour leaders, we were privileged to see some amazing birds during the days and then, thanks to the brilliant chef and hotel manager, devour a delicious and different three-course meal every evening. As a strict vegan, it was the first holiday I have experienced where I was singled out for the right reasons. Rather than feeling a nuisance for being vegan (my usual experience) I felt special for all the right reasons. If you're vegan, love nature and love food, I would highly recommend..

As a single holidaymaker, I have chosen to travel with Naturetrek on a number of occasions over the years because I feel safe and very well looked after each time. They are professional, well organised and genuinely care that their clients have a good holiday. They also take constructive criticism on board and always endeavour to improve your experience.

Birding in Florida with Naturetrek
Had a superb holiday with lovely like minded people. The birds were amazing - so plentiful and so accessible. The two tour leaders were both excellent birders and planned our itinerary so we saw a very wide range of species. The hotels were first class and the food top notch.

I have traveled with Naturetrek on several occasions and found them to be really good. Hence the reason I go back.

Well organised tour.
A bird watching week that was well organised and allowed us to see over 100 species in Extremadura. Despite the intensity it was fun and our 2 leaders were excellent. The accommodation and food were both different and good

A week in the Gambian jungle
A wonderful week at Mandina River Lodges immersed in wildlife. Fabulous place to stay. Rustic but comfortable with delightful staff and excellent food. I didn't want to leave

An absolutely fantastic holiday!
A cruise in search of Mantas, Dolphins & Coral Reefs in the Maldives. There was just so much to see, it's difficult to choose, but the top highlight had to be the sightings of the whale shark - numerous sightings and close! Followed closely by the sightings of Mantas. A wonderful Antarctic experience
There were several challenges faced by Naturetrek and Oceanwide, the organisers of our trip, due to weather conditions and the arrival in Antarctica of Avian Influenza. This meant that some of the primary landing sites on South Georgia were closed, but alternative arrangements were made by the day to avoid rough weather, and to maximise our wildlife experience, so we were able to spend more time around the Antarctic peninsula and see some wonderful ...

This meant that some of the primary landing sites on South Georgia were closed, but alternative arrangements were made by the day to avoid rough weather, and to maximise our wildlife experience, so we were able to spend more time around the Antarctic peninsula and see some wonderful wildlife and natural conditions. The Naturetrek guides were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, as were all the ship's crew and Oceanwide staff.

A group of ten of us were travelling to Tierra del Fuego via Frankfurt, and a series of aborted flights and mishaps occurred, which meant that we missed our southward connection in Buenos Aires. When alerted to this, Naturetrek staff worked overnight to rearrange onward travel for us, by plane and minibus via Rio Grande, and we reached the ship with 2 hours to spare. I have always found Naturetrek to be a great company, and in this instance they were superb.

My ‘go to’ tour operator as they are always responsive to queries and any problems are quickly resolved. They were particularly good during Covid, refunding promptly when holidays couldn’t go ahead. The guides provided are always first class.
