We went with a group of people bird watching primarily., but also some lovely boat trips to the other islands. We were lucky with the weather being dry but a cold north wind did keep some of the birds away. Still plenty to see and do, and a very relaxing week early in the season before it gets too busy.

Naturetrek is a specialist wildlife tour operator that we have used on many occasions from holidays in the UK to South America. All expertly led by experienced and competent leaders. If a problem occurs, the office efficiently sort it.

I enjoyed the different environments, from jungles, beaches, mountains and gardens. And of course the birds. I would never have seen or heard so many wonderful species without the help of the guides and other trip participants. I love hummingbirds and other tropical birds. The trip met my expectations. I also enjoy going on your holidays with mainly British participants!

Naturetrek service was quick and concise. They found a single spot for me when it wasn’t originally available when I first inquired. Alexis the guide was friendly, knowledgeable, persistent and patient. He was always calling me over to the scope to make sure I saw the birds well. He took some photos through the scope for me. Eric was a new guide who helped at the Tower and was excellent, too.

The world of the Galapagos was revealed to travellers by a remarkable guide, Darwin, who guardianship of these islands is evident in his depth of knowledge and delight in sharing their home. It has been an unforgettable and moving experience.

Highly professional. Our group was met at every point in this holiday by competent, local staff. Every need was met with courtesy and respect. The only surprise on the thoroughly well-organised itinerary was its delivery beyond my wildest dreams.

Everything about this holiday was terrific. Knowledgeable guides, great service, accommodation and food. The best bit was the wildlife. Swimming with sharks, turtles, sea lions and penguins on the same session! Ecuadorean Amazon was also brilliant. Darwin our guide was incredible.

Kept us well informed throughout so felt they took our safety seriously especially when there had been civil unrest.

5 nights in 2 contrasting areas of Andalucia, beautiful scenery, birds large and small, wild boar, otters, red deer....fleeting glimpse of the rare Iberian Lynx. A small group divided between 2 vehicles, 2 brilliant local guides who both spoke good English.

First time we have used Naturetrek. Fun being with a small like-minded group. Good value holidays. Focus fully on nature.

Birdwatching in Extremadura in a small group we stayed in a lovely finca with great hosts and wonderful food. There were so many birds within the grounds such as shrikes and bee eaters. We had 2 expert guides with us who ensured that we experienced all the birding highlights that the area had to offer. Our particular highlights were Spanish Imperial Eagle, black storks and of course the bee eaters.

Very comprehensive information pack with itinerary, previous tour reports and links to the finca and area. Always helpful and prompt to reply when we had any questions.

The birding holiday to Coto Donana, Spain had everything I had hoped for. Our very knowledgable and friendly guide took us to many of the best spots around the delta and we saw a vast array of birds to the delight of all on the trip. Besides being an expert on bird identification our guide knew a great deal about the wild flowers and insects which greatly added to our overall experience. Accommodation and food at a friendly hotel, within the heart of the delta, completed our satisfaction.

Naturetrek lived up to all our expectations in terms of organisation and provision of a superb holiday.

Birdwatching in El Coto Donana just outside Seville. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and organised the whole trip very well. Small group of like-minded people staying in El Rocio, a small town which is reminiscent of a film set for a cowboy story. Busy but relaxed schedule.
