A good holiday with a wide variety seen of plants, animals and birds. Excellent accommodation with superb meals. Enthusiastic and knowledgable leaders.

Efficient and helpful.

Stayed at the Asa wright Centre on Trinidad for 7 nights and went out every day birding, some days within the grounds, other days further afield. In addition we had a trip to a Leatherback Turtle nesting site and were able to watch one laying her eggs - a very emotional experience and a highlight of our trip.

Helpful and flexible

Trip involved travel to these regions to see wildlife. We are not a birders but for us the plan was to photograph in these regions.

Very efficient in planning and communication to us anything associated with the holiday. Tour guides were excellent being very helpful in all aspects. Food provided was very good. A very good opportunity to see wildlife and culture in these areas and hotel proprietors very friendly.

I went with Naturetrek to the Cota Donana and Extramedura, mainly to explore the bird life in these areas. Our two guides, experts in their field, surpassed all expectations. They went the extra mile on every occasion. As a group we gelled pretty well and as well as encountering all the wildlife we could have hoped for, we squeezed in some local culture too. It was simply great.

Naturetrek took away all the usual travel headaches - they even checked us in for our flights. Everything was expertly organised and efficiently carried out, even though there was flexibility in our programme too. Thank you, Naturetrek, it was wonderful.

Excellent tailormade holiday to Sabah, Borneo, with superb naturalist guiding, very smooth arrangements and a well-balanced itinerary. Everything went without a hitch and exceeded our expectations. We saw so many different birds and mammals it was incredible. Overall a wonderful experience and one of our best holidays.

It was the first time we had used Naturetrek and we were very impressed with the quality of the guiding provided and the level of detail in the pre-departure information. The office staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We will use them again for wildlife holidays.

I was both surprised and delighted by how much green space there is in Menorca. Developments are regulated, ensuring that plant and bird life can flourish. We saw a multitude of plants and wild flowers and enjoyed a magnificent walk through a gorge, with Egyptian vultures flying overhead. The island is home to many species of birds and also benefits greatly from being on a migration route. Imagine being able to lie in bed and hear hoopoes calling at dawn, then stepping outside to see them crossing the fields.

I have found Naturetrek to provide holidays of a consistently high standard. Whether one's interest lies with plants, birds or mammals, there is something to suit all tastes. Their leaders are extremely knowledgeable and keen to share their expertise. The range of holidays offered across all continents is impressive. Naturetrek has enabled me to travel to places that I would not otherwise have been able to visit. The office staff are always helpful and administration is good.

I have been travelling with Naturetrek for ten years ,their combination of landscape,history and excellent wildlife guides keep me going back for more

Namibia, Botswana and Zambia – Etosha to the Victoria Falls This was a superb trip, run by Naturetrek and expertly led by Neil MacLeod and Jakes De Jager from ground agents SafariWise. We saw very many incredible mammals, birds and reptiles – thanks to the amazing spotting and identification skills of both Neil and Jakes. Some of the many highlights included two Cheetahs and an African Wildcat together at one of the many waterholes we visited, Black Rhinos at another, and playful young Lions at a third. Many wonderful birds too – including Blue Cranes, Southern Ground Hornbills and even the Critically Endangered White-headed Vulture. And as a grand finale - the ever-spectacular Victoria Falls!
