Small group of like-minded people, staying in good accommodation with excellent food. Great guide who showed us some of the best wildlife and scenery Scotland has to offer. The time went all too quickly and I hope to repeat the excellent holiday.

A week on the island of Oland, off the Swedish coast in the Baltic. Staying in a guesthouse. Small group. travelled aboutt he island in a comfortable people carrier. Excellent guide, local knowledge outstanding. Focus was shared between birds and botany, many new personal discoveries in both fields.All was well planned and considerate of the ages and capabilities physically of the group members.Exciting to be in Sweden where there are enlightened attitudes towrds nature, ecological considerations and the joys of rural life.

Very well organised trip with a knowledgeable leader. The group was an appropriate size and all participants were enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. The hotel was particularly welcoming. The Burren lived up to its reputation as an excellent location to see a large number of interesting plant species.

Glorious week on the Mediterranean island of Corsica just a few hours off the coast of Nice on the Cote d'Azur. Snow still resting on the high peaks in May, while strongly scented maquis covered the hillsides. Many endemic wildflower plants, (including orchards) were brought to our attention with such enthusiasm by an expert plant identification person. Corsican finches, the Corsican nuthatch, the Corsican Fire Salamander as well as the Corsican pine were wonderful to see, together with flocks of bea-eaters, crossbills and a good view (over several minutes) of a firecrest, also an enormous Egyptian grasshopper. Spectacular gorges, truly breathtaking landscapes and such a variety of habitats, from the inland highlands to the coastal salt pans. From the iconic historical village of Corte to the Roman ruins at Aléria near the eastern coast.

Naturetrek was an excellent tour operator, easy online booking, well supplied with information at every stage and quick response to any queries. Both our guides were professional both in their knowledge and their behaviour during our trip. Our Ornithologist (s) and Plant expert were both good all rounders and yet still eager to learn from anyone within the group with a special expertise. Very friendly and informative with willingness to go out of their way to help us see things we were particularly interested in. The setting up of a dropbox in which we could all share and compare photographs was very much appreciated Very well planned and executed tour, with some inbuilt flexibility to cope with any vagaries of the weather. I suppose like all wildlife tours prices are going up all the time, so now is the time to book something you've been thinking about. An extension of a few days is worthwhile to take in Ajaccio, the natal home of Napoleon, with it's many cafés, restaurants and coastal situation.

Short break watching Mammals in Sweden. Everything from the local guide, to the accommodation to the food was outstanding. We were lucky enough to see Elks, Fox cubs, Beavers and spent over an hour watching Bears. As always Naturetrek know how to look after their customers.

This was the 11th time I've travelled with Naturetrek and as always, it was a fantastic trip. They really know how to look after their customers, whilst ensuring that the environment in which they travel is still maintained. I can not recommend Naturetrek highly enough to anyone looking to take a wildlife watching holiday.

We spent a week on the Ardnurmurchan peninsula in Scotland looking for wildlife which we saw everywhere. The rest of the party were very compatible and the guide amazingly good at his job. We saw all and more than we expected and will be more than happy to go on a further Naturetrek holiday and to recommend them to our friends. The weather was reasonable for Scotland, as good as we expected and the midges not too bad! We stayed in a very comfortable Bunkhouse and were looked after by a very helpful chef who had the care of everything in the Bunkhouse with assistance from his wife. Both the guide and Naturetrek were very helpful when I thought I had lost my i-pad but luckily it was found and all was well.

Naturetrek is a Wildlife Holiday Tour Operator who have holidays all over the world. We have been on five trips now and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. They are very efficient and helpful and every detail is carefully organised. I would recommend them to anyone looking for this sort of trip.

This was a week with 2 expert guides in the 'Lake District' and Southern Lapland areas of Sweden. It was excellently organised, had outstanding guides, and more than fulfilled all my possible expectations as far as birds see, landscapes visited, and overall holiday experience went.

Naturetrek have a brilliant website, instantly available expert advice available on the phone, and choose places to stay and visit, and their expert guides, with consummate expertise. They must be second to none for wildlife holidays.

We saw eagles white tailed and golden, ruffs with their amazing neck feathers, otters,seals and a dozen corncrakes as well as goosander,larks merganser northern diver wheatear snipe ,a total of 80+ birds. We walked the beautiful landscapes and travelled all over North and south Uist. We stayed at an excellent hotel called Langass and ate excellent meals.

The accommodation at Glenborrowdale on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in Argyll was ideal for exploring the region. The Naturetrek itinerary accurately described what wildlife was likely to be found and our tour guide made every effort to ensure that we achieved most objectives. A good spell of Scottish Spring weather helped to enhance our appreciation of the views and general scenery of the region.

I have made almost 20 trips with Naturetrek over the last 15+ years both in UK and worldwide. Their annual brochure has always been an important tool in planning my travels. The description of the itineraries provides all the information that one can expect for a wildlife experience and arrangements on tour are well managed. The quality and experience of the tour guides ensures that travellers get the best out of the trips

Initially concentrated on two major coastal National Nature Reserves in Southern Tuscany. Birding was good, especially during a pelagic trip round one of the offshore islands. Insects, butterflies and wildflowers were, in the main, more interesting and outstanding. Then spent several days inland in the hill country, journeying via old city of Sienna. Historically and culturally outstanding. Birding in the hills was not so good and botany was very good for those interested. My wife and I then spent a three day extension in Florence which was, in cultural and historical terms, stunning. All this was arranged and organised by Naturetrek. Everything went well and accommodation, meals and the daily itinerary catered for very well for all the parties needs. This is about the fifteenth time my wife and I have travelled with Naturetrek, testimony enough on this company.

As commented above, about the fifteenth time with them, so we must be satisfied customers. Itineraries, departure information and all travel details have always been very good and comprehensive. Any issues have always been effectively and satisfactorily dealt with. Little more I can say really.
