Ashdown forest Day trip

A one day ramble across part of the Ash down Forest with Bob Eade. Really very enjoyable and educational at the same time. Looking at the local Wildlife - Butterflies, birds and insect life - I didn't realise there was so much new to see virtually on my door step. Bob is very personable and knowledgeable, a pleasure to spend the day with him and our small group of wildlife enthusiasts - Would thoroughly recommend -Thank you Bob and Naturetrek...

Speyside wildlife experience

Bird watching from early morning until late afternoon going to very different, interesting and pretty areas sometimes especially looking for certain types of birds and others looking for a few birds in the same vicinity. Based in a central hotel where bird watching and walking were both possible. Excellent Guides with great knowledge. A super holiday.

Scottish Hebrides by land and sea

Collected from Inverness station and taken to charter boat at Ullapool with 6 other passengers. We spent the first three days travelling around smaller islands and Shiants looking at birds and cetaceans. Excellent view of dolphins, many seabirds. Well looked after by small crew, chef produced wonderful food from a tiny galley. Landed at Stornoway where we were based in a comfortable hotel. Well looked after by small crew, chef produced wonderful food from a tiny galley. Landed at Stornoway where we were based in a comfortable hotel. Three days travelling around around Lewis and Harris. Saw white tailed and golden eagles, standing stones at Callanish We were accompanied by our friendly guide all the way who took us to the best places for birdwatching and shared his extensive knowledge of wildlife.

Great guides, great fun

A tour aimed at seeing northbound birds as they migrate along the Black Sea coast towards their breeding grounds in eastern Europe and western Asia plus some local birds, butterflies and other forms of natural history.

Spring Birding in Bulgaria

10 days of travelling around the edge of Bulgaria, taking in a variety of habitats and a wonderful variety and number of bird species. Beautiful scenery, very wild and unspoilt. Loved it, and hope to go back one day.

Very informative

This was a day trip at RSPB Franchises Lodge. We were treated to plenty of wildlife and our guide Samuel was a font of knowledge on everything we saw. His easy manner and expertise was invaluable. This area is not yet fully open to the public so we were privileged to see unspoilt ancient woodland, a real treat. Would highly recommend this trip.

This is the tenth day trip I have made with Naturetrek, all have been well organised, the information sent has been very good and an excellent variety of day trips offered. The one longer foreign trip I have made with Naturetrek was equally well organised and enjoyable.
