Spanish Wildlife Holiday with the added twist of improving our Spanish language

This was an opportunity to improve our Spanish language skills whilst enjoying the wildlife and history in La Montana Palentina area in northern Spain. A region where bears, wolves and wildcat still live and the sky is filled with vultures soaring plus so much more. Based in a tiny hamlet in a converted farm building surrounded by a countryside filled with so much of nature that we in the UK have lost over the last 50 years or so. It's like ...

A region where bears, wolves and wildcat still live and the sky is filled with vultures soaring plus so much more. Based in a tiny hamlet in a converted farm building surrounded by a countryside filled with so much of nature that we in the UK have lost over the last 50 years or so. It's like stepping back in time to where not only the natural world but also humans have space to live and breathe. We learnt so much of the area, saw many wonderful things, shared a lot of joy and had time to practice and expand our Spanish skills as well

NatureTrek's Tarifa & Gibraltar: Whales, Dolphins & Autumn Migration

I had some amazing wildlife experiences, from watching skies full of migrating raptors to seeing whales & dolphins within touching distance on a boat trip at Tarifa. Our accommodation was incredibly welcoming, our hosts went above & beyond to provide us with everything we needed. The food was superb, the rooms were spotless & the surroundings idyllic. There was plenty to occupy us in the evenings & down-time between birding. The atmosphere ...

NatureTrek's tour leaders, Simon & Niki, were the perfect guides/companions on our trip: enthusiastic, passionate & utterly devoted to their work. Their encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife was invaluable, & we enjoyed their fantastic sense of humour! The atmosphere in our group was always jovial & relaxed, which made it that much more enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for better Trip Leaders, & I would love to experience more holidays under their guidance. I couldn't fault anything about this holiday, & am now keen to become a regular NatureTrek client!

Dolphins and seabirds galore

This was a day trip to view the dolphins and seabirds of Lyme Bay, in Devon. We spent 9 hours out on the sea, it was unfortunately quite rough, and I am not the best of sailors!! We did however see numerous dolphins which was amazing, some with their young, and many swam right up to the boat, and also many many sea birds of differing types.
