A well organised tour beyong the arctic circle in Sweden. A good balance of wildlife and and cultural interactions. A knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide.

This is our 5th tour with Naturetrek. They manage their operation extremely well and tours are usually top quality. On the rare occassion there are problems, they sort them out quickly and provide refunds where appropriate. There have been no issues reorganising tours as a consequence of cancellations arising from the pandemic.

This was a day trip aroundChichester Harbour and Pagham; with a small group. We saw a really good variety of birds and the morning boat trip around the harbour also provided some fascinating information about the part the area played in the D-Day operation. it gave us an opportunity to appreciate the extent of the harbour and to see large numbers of birds (and some seals) on the mud at low tide which would not have been accessible frrm the shore. We had an experienced and helpful guide who found numerous birds. In the afternoon he was able to identify birds at some distance using his telescope which he focused patiently for us.

Naturetrek are experienced wildlife tour operators who offer group and tailor-made holidays in the UK and internationally. in the UK they now have a programme of day trips and short holidays in addition to their longer tours. They provide experienced guides and the holidays we have been on - from day trips to longer holidays abroad, have always been well organised. They are also helpful in responding to queries whether this is concerning a specific holiday or a more general enquiry.. Their tours may include some visits to historical sites and other places of interest, sometimes with optional extensions to the 'standard' itinerary available.

First time (for me) bird watching holiday. Everyone else was reasonable experienced but I did not feel left out.

Naturetrek organised the whole thing, itinerary and flights. All very straight forward. No hassles.

Visited Tenerife, La Gomera and Fuerteventura on a wildlife spotting holiday, looking at birds, insects, plants, reptiles and mammals. Knowledgeable guides and good sightings of many rare, difficult to see species.

Naturetrek organised an excellent trip, with every opportunity to explore the wildlife of 3 different islands.

6 days were spent watching birds in the Extramadura, Spain. The two guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They looked after us very well!

Naturetrek was the tour operator. They have been most helpful and professional.

It was a Naturetrek guided 6 day trip to the Forest of Dean and then the Somerset levels, with a visit to Slimbridge on route. The guides were so enthusiastic and brilliant at spotting what birds were about that I felt we had the best possible opportunity to enjoy everything despite the worst possible weather conditions. The hotels were fine and we were very well fed throughout.

Three days in Somerset in February visiting different wildlife areas as a group of eleven plus two leaders. It would be difficult to overstate just how good these three days were. Olly and Dave were a brilliant team enthusiastic ,skillful ,helpful and fun to be with. The itinerary was well balanced and the wildlife exciting. Even the weather mostly played ball. Particularly loved the penduline tits, the incredibly confiding red crested pochard and the contrast between the mass starling murmuration on the levels ( with ring side seats courtesy of Olly) and the wonderful long aerial display of the starlings at Weston.

Naturetrek excel at these short breaks as well as their long haul wildlife holidays. They have been flexible and trustworthy throughout the pandemic and I highly recommend them.

First introductory evening the guides elicited specific wishes of each member of the Group. Guides worked well together and generated a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with all group members. Guides used extensive and current local knowledge to satisfactory results for all but one desire - never saw a Bittern even though we heard 'booming' nearby. Accommodation was central to the area covered - excellent food. Overall a fun adventure with several 'firsts'.

Specialist for nature holidays. Competitively priced (against other wildlife tour operators. Used them many times. Excellent guides and itineraries. Adaptable to personal needs. Friendly and very efficient staff. Excellent communication that helps prepare for the holiday. Never had a disappointment with all holidays with them so far.
