This is my 2nd walking holiday and everything is perfectly arranged and I enjoy every day.

They respond quickly, are clear and I always receive good and correct help.

We walked The Glen Way in Scotland end may - start june. This was an individual walk organised for us by Mickledore Travel. We were very happy with the booked accomodations . Lucky for us the wheather was fine and we could enjoy the walk and the views.

This was our 7th walking holiday booked withMickledore Travel. They never let us down and we are content with every trip. Easy contact, good information in writing and app. Beatyfull routes and excellent accomodations.

Mickledore gave our complex booking (which involved an older party and quite a lot of vacillation!) a lot of patient attention and gave excellent advice. The route was good, with great views and lots of help from the maps supplied. A highlight however was the accommodation which was much appreciated at the end of a long day. All the hotels and guest houses had comfortable, high quality and sometimes very stylishly designed accommodation with friendly staff who literally couldn't have done more to help, and the food available on site and for packed lunches was absolutely excellent. The taxi transfers where we had them were done by cheerful, charming and timely locals who really added to the experience! We had to book in one extra independent traveller at the last minute and they were also helpful with advice for this which made it possible for her to add herself to the party and travel alongside us.

Mickledore are based in Keswick and seem to have excellent relationships with all their suppliers. The suppliers are evidently keen to impress them and feel they need to keep up high standards. The whole booking system is very efficient with great online payment facilities and excellent access to the guides and booking details online.

A seven day walking holiday with accommodation and luggage transfer.

We have used Mickledore several times. We have always been impressed in their attention to detail. They have always carefully chosen our accommodation along the route according to our request. If we contact them, they are always attentive and professional.

Walked the Great Glen Way in May 24. It's a lovely peaceful route along canal tow paths, beside lochs and through lots of pine forest, with a few beautiful moorland stretches too. Everything went to plan, signposting is very good (even on diversions) and we were really lucky that we had no rain whilst walking and no midges! A few steep uphill pulls but overall fairly gentle gradients. A really enjoyable walk.

Our 6th holiday with Mickledore. We were due to travel last year but had to cancel due to illness. However Mickledore were really helpful in rearranging our trip. Staff are easy to contact via phone or email. Organisation and information for trip was first class, and accomodation (a mix of small hotels and b&bs) was all attractive, clean, and mindful of walkers requirements. Couldn't fault anything.

Walked 99 miles of the South West Coast Path in the UK, all booked and planned by Mickledore. All went so smoothly, had great weather and the scenery was far greater than expectations. Cant wait to do another section of the SWCP next year...

Everything about the holiday went according to plan including the weather! The Cleveland Way and Best of Hadrian's wall were well marked and easy to navigate. The scenery was so beautiful, especially the Cleveland Way and there was so much to see - everyday we experienced a variety of landscapes and outstanding views!. Hadrian's wall was intact for a good portion of our way! Our accommodations were excellent including the food. The accommodations provided a welcoming resting stop at the end of our day. Our luggage was always there waiting for us to arrive. Breakfasts provided anything we would need. The Host was always welcoming and helpful. Taxis services, when needed were well planned. I want to go on another walking trip with Mickledore. We were so proud of walking the entire Cleveland Way. Our first long distance walk - we had never completed those distances before this walk. Thank you to Mickledore for making that happen!

We were so glad we used Mickledore for our first walking holiday! Mickledore staff helped us with all of our planning questions and logistics. They always responded promptly to our questions. They provided clear communications and lots of information. We were supplied with guide books, maps and an app with the walk information. We would use them again for our next walk. We are from Canada so it was important to find a trusted travel agent to help us sort through all the logistics for a successful walking trip. Thank you Mickledore! We loved the walking journey we took!!

We walked from Leven to St. Andrew, enjoyed it immensely -- great vistas and countryside, the people were friendly and helpful, really enjoyed all aspects of the trip.

Mickledore did a great job with outlining our itinerary, arranging accommodations, transporting our bags to each way station, and providing us with maps and directions.

Everything was organised perfectly with good quality accommodation and information. All queries answered very quickly.

Helpful and friendly Mickledore walking holiday.

We began at Fort William, and ended at Inverness. In between we stayed at a number of fabulous B&Bs, and the transport of luggage was great. We are senior citizens and everything worked very well for us. We took the longer option so we didn’t go as far each day as some might have, but we still walked a good amount each day and were very satisfied with what we did.

Mickledore was fantastic, and the people I communicated with were always very quick to respond and extremely helpful. We will use them again if we are healthy enough to do another walk! I will never forget our wonderful experience.
