I combined their 16 day tour of Scotland by train with a ten day car rental. Their organisation was impeccable. All accommodation and services were of a very high standard. I was well looked after, and found the two different types of travel enabled me to see both scenery and "tourist" spots.

Mc Kinnlay Kidd provided a first class service from my initial email enquiry until I flew home. Their organisation and attention to detail was excellent.

The holiday was well organised with the accommodation, flights and car hire exceeding expectations with planning. The trip out to St Kilda was an absolute highlight and we feel a special experience. We were so lucky with the weather. Our accommodation was great, warm, welcoming hosts and in delightful settings. McKinlay Kidd choose well. The back up from the Company is so prompt and professional and consistently of a high standard. The Outer Hebredies is a must to visit!

9 nights self drive, staying at small country house hotels, including a side trip to Orkney.

V friendly and efficient. I dealt with the same person throughout. They provided a very comprehensive folder with full directions, hints and suggestions , maps, booklets and other information. One thing I did find odd is that they didn’t want to give me the names of our hotels until AFTER I paid the deposit. The holiday was quite expensive and this was not acceptable, so on pushing, I was given the names eventually.

We had an outstanding independent driving tour of the Outer Hebrides and Orkney, with travel arrangements far exceeding our expectations. The Hebrides in particular will hold a special place in our memories - we loved the history, scenery, people and special atmosphere of the islands.

McKinley Kidd staff were exceptional in the service they provided. Responses to queries were always very prompt, their suggestions were excellent, the accommodation they selected for our independent tour was first class. Very friendly, helpful, efficient and professional service, and very much appreciated.

The wonderful Orkney and Shetland both with a beauty of there very own. What more would anyone want.

Everything went the way McKinlay Kidd had planned it. First class from hotels to flights to car hire.

We did not previously know Scotland, and asked McKInley Kidd to organise a self-drive trip route for us going through the Great Glen, the Isle of Skye and the Cairngorms. We asked them to arrange a route and book a hire car and hotels for us, according to our specifications. Everything worked very well.

McKinley Kidd did a very good job at very short notice. The car and the hotels were fine, and we had all the information about where we were going and what we could do there.

Quiet, peaceful, location. Great hotels with super food.. Fantastic scenery.

A great trip. Started in Glasgow, ended in Edinburgh, with 10 nights in hotels and B&B's, Speen Bridge, Syke, Thurso, Kirkwall, Inverness & Pitlochery. Used Scot Rail regularly scheduled trains to move to each location. Ferry to Isle of Skye from Mallig and to the Main Island of Orkney via Thurso. We also took the Jacobite train. All transportation was arranged by the tour operator between trains and accommodation. All accommodation was great. All included breakfast and some supper. We never experienced any problems with what was arranged by the tour director.

Would highly recommend McKinley-Kidd. From the time we contacted them about tour options, we were very satisfied with the service we received. The accommodation they booked for us was excellent in all cases, as well as the private tours of Skye and Orkney. All the people we met at the accommodations and tours spoke highly of their relationship with McKinley-Kidd. No issues during the trip that required follow up as everything went well.

I traveled to Ireland with my grown sons and daughter-in-law. We rented a car and drove from Dublin to Enniskillen, to Lough Conn, Ennis, Dingle and back to Dublin. We LOVED having a car to go off the beaten track and unscripted even though we had some 'must do' experiences and tours planned.

McKinlay Kidd did a fantastic job of listening to the things we wanted to do and arranging and advising us about how to fit as much as we could into our 10 nights in Ireland. The accommodations were excellent and Robert's tips appearing in the Vamoos app were excellent. I HIGHLY recommend McKinlay Kidd.

A great trip to Arran, Islay, Mull & Skye - wonderful places with very good accommodation & food, & fortunately for us the weather was warm & sunny.
