Our trip was a 10 day - 4 location trip taking in Fort William, Isle of Sky, Argle and Colonsay. What beautiful places they were too. Accommodate great, locations superb, itinerary exactly what we wanted......we just fell in love with Scotland

The guys at McKinley Kidd listened to what we wanted and came up with an itinerary (at quire short notice - 6 weeks at height of summer). We needed to change some things last minute and they were right on it - making the changes so everything went smoothly.

We had a wonderful tour organised for us by McKinlayKidd which involved train, ferry and bus travel from Glasgow, to Skye, on to Inverness, Thurso, the Orkneys and back to Edinburgh via the Cairngorms. Everything was catered for - all tickets, accommodation, tours - and it all worked really well.

McKinlayKidd ensured that all our information was sent to us before we left home and that all tickets, itinerary, names of accommodation and tour operators etc was delivered to our hotel in Glasgow before we set off. We had no complaints.

After landing on the beach at Barra we spent 10 days exploring the islands by car ending in Stornoway on Lewis. On idea location if you are interested in wildlife and big scenery and seascapes. The locals were very friendly and helpful and some of the restaurants were worldclass.

McKinlay Kidd are obviously knowledgeable about the Outer Hebrides and they have visited and stayed in the hotels and B&Bs they used for us. They tailored an itinerary to meet our interests.

Well organised Good accomodation, B&B and transfer to worthwhile excursions.

Planned ahead. 24X7 phone contact during planing. No surprises. Good access to the whole range of service providers. Good and complete documentation.

We toured Scotland for five days in a hired Morgan with accommodation booked and routes suggested, with lots of information and maps provided.

McKinley Kidd organised our holiday and did an excellent job. Everything worked well, from the pick up at the hotel in Edinburgh to the drop off there five days later. We even got (mostly) good weather so we were very happy. Even before the holiday itself, all the communication beforehand relating to the booking was efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend the company and this kind of holiday - have already done so..

It was really well organised and they were very helpful. The people at the hotels and the tours were so helpful and friendly. Which was good because I was traveling on my own and I felt so relaxed on holiday.

I combined their 16 day tour of Scotland by train with a ten day car rental. Their organisation was impeccable. All accommodation and services were of a very high standard. I was well looked after, and found the two different types of travel enabled me to see both scenery and "tourist" spots.

Mc Kinnlay Kidd provided a first class service from my initial email enquiry until I flew home. Their organisation and attention to detail was excellent.

The holiday was well organised with the accommodation, flights and car hire exceeding expectations with planning. The trip out to St Kilda was an absolute highlight and we feel a special experience. We were so lucky with the weather. Our accommodation was great, warm, welcoming hosts and in delightful settings. McKinlay Kidd choose well. The back up from the Company is so prompt and professional and consistently of a high standard. The Outer Hebredies is a must to visit!
