Efficient,excellent information and advice

It was the most fulfilling trip, spiritually, emotionally,everything that I could have wished from such a pilgrimage. A great group of people to share the time with and fun too.

Everything from booking and support to the guide we had was just brilliant.

The Pilgrimage included six of the top ten activities and experiences.All travel arrangements were taken care of. All you had to do was turn up!We were guided through amazing cities with guides who could tell you and show you all the "interesting bits".We walked through such a variety of different landscapes from cloud covered forest at the foot of the Pyrenees, to flat harvested landscapes as far as the eye could see with not a tree or hedge to break the vista, and unrelenting heat from the sun.All the while we were walking or travelling our guide was sharing his knowledge of the history, culture and art of each distinctive region as we traversed northern Spain from east to west.In every region we were able to enjoy local specialities of food and wine.

McCabe Holidays have been successfully operating for a long time, and are good at catering for groups as well as individuals. I have traveled with them twice now and as a single person travelling alone and have felt safe and supported by their attention to detail.They have provided good accommodation and a wide selection of food to cater for most requirements.Their strength is in the quality of their guides and well conceived itineraries to places of very special interest.

"In St.Paul's Steps" pilgrimage tour of Greece, visiting Phillipi,the Meteora monasteries,Delpi, Athens and Ancient Corinth, with many other interesting shorter visits and wonderful scenery.All this in a comfortable airconditioned bus, with an excellent guide, driver and leader!

McCabe Pilgrimmages

We thought we knew about the Holy Land but this pilgrimage taught us we were sadly lacking in understanding of it.

McCabe are second to none in organisation, nothing is left to chance.

I have been on 8 Holy Land Pilgrimages before and my partner has been on 3. We found this McCabe Pilgrimage excellent in all ways, starting with when we booked it, our "meet up" with other like minded Pilgrims, the flight, hotels and Religious Sites. We had a super Leader (Revd.John McGrath (and his wife Pamela)). In fact he made this Pilgrimage the best we have been on. He made the Bible come "alive" and prayers and hymns took on a very special meaning. My partner renewed her Baptism vows in the Sea of Galilee which was very emotional. We would thoroughly recommend McCabe Pilgrimages and look forward to a Pilgrimage visiting Rome and Assisi soon.

Excellent in all aspects

24 of us travelled from Philippi round to Corinth following in the steps of St. Paul and also visiting Greek Monasteries and Delphi. It worked very well as a pilgrimage.

McCabe's are a family firm specialising in pilgrimages. I have led several parties with them and they have always been excellent.

Everything worked and we just needed to do as we were asked.

Effective

Great holiday covering St Paul's travels through Greece. we covered a lot of ground in an organised wy. the hotels were excellent as was the organisation and coach trips and guide.

Efficient at organisation with good planning for time use and destinations. good hotel choice and coach operator, superb guide.
