We spent 6 night in Jerusalem and 3 nights in Tiberius. We were unhappy that we had to move from our accomodation in Jerusalem for one night, and our hotel had been overbooked.It was a pity that we were not told this at the time of booking, and only with 2/3 weeks to go. The accomodation we were offered was not really satisfactory..... however we made the best of it, and ultimately we still enjoyed our holiday.

I think they try very hard, but given the cost we paid for our holiday, I think I would have preferred not to have had the accomodation glitches that we had.

We stayed at the Golden Walls Hotel in Jerusalem for five nights and toured the various Christian sights, including the Israel Museum and Bethelehem. We then travelled to Tiberias via Jericho and stayed for four nights at the Ron beach Hotel, right on the shore of Lake Galilee. The Hotels were clean and comfortable and the food was plentiful. During the whole tour, we were accompanied by our excellent guide Salim Musallam and driver Abed and led by Rev Elizabeth Rundle and Rev Linda Chester. The trip was absolutely TERRIFIC! It was very very special to visit the biblical sights and share in readings, hymns and Holy Communion, in company with fellow Christianms. Definitely to be recommended.

McCabe were very professional and as far as I can tell, everything went according to plan, which is what yu need when you are travelling in a foreign country. Definitely no complaints.

Not happy with flights. McCabe originally booked us to go to Tel Aviv with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, none of us happy about this. McCabe seemed reluctant to change flights until terror attack on Istanbul. They then booked us on BA flights which arrived at an ungodly hour the following day. They need to go back to using El Al LY316 which has a better arrival time. Apart from flights everything else ok.

Iran was such a fascinating country - so much culture to experience and an 11 day trip could hardly do justice to the country. Isfahan is surely the most beautiful city in the world. And the people were so friendly and welcoming. I would love to go back to see even more.

I have been on pilgrimages with McCabe many times and happily recommend them to my friends.

A life changing experience to be repeated again and again.

I don't really know what I was expecting from a holiday in Iran. Especially after the negitive comments from friends. But my Wife and I thouroughly enjoyed the trip.Our guide could not have been better and the Iranian people very friendly and welcoming. I reccomend Iran to others.

This was about the 12th trip made with McCabe's and as always they provided five star service.

Learnt so much. Wonderful country, guide, hotels, food.
