This was a pilgrimage-type holiday, so was crammed with visits to important sites. There was some time to relax after the day's adventures, but it would not be for those who like to relax by the pool/beach with a book. There was a fair bit of walking, but only once the site had been reached by coach, and the guide explained exactly what was to be expected. The two hotels had been carefully selected for suitability and were very clean and efficient. Food in both was excellent.

It was clear that McCabe were very experienced as they had thought of everything. Their staff were accessible by telephone prior to the holiday to answer any queries and make any special arrangements. Our group leader had requested a specific guide who was made available, indicating that McCabe were able to be flexible. Special dietary needs were noted and catered for with no problems.

Wonderful to have such a full itinerary pre-organised and to have the transport to take us to each site. This meant we could relax and enjoy every experience without worrying about getting to the next place or getting lost! The arrangements for lunch and the hotels chosen were perfect for the sites we were visiting. But in addition to all that,what made the trip for us was our inspirational guide, whose knowledge of all things historic, cultural and religious was truly outstanding.

Information provided in advance was clear and relevant. We departed feeling confident that everything was under control and we knew what was going to happen - and it happened exactly as planned! Organisation was superb and left us without any worry about arrangements so we could just enjoy the trip.

It was a pilgrimage to Israël staying in Jerusalem for 6 nights and then onto Tiberius for 3 nights

This was an introductory experience with the aim of attracting leaders for future pilgrimages. It more than met our expectations. We did not have to worry about anything so could just immerse ourselves in the wonder of walking in the steps of Jesus. From the moment we arrived at Heathrow to returning the following week, we were scooped up and guided all the way. With the help of an experienced leader and an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated local guide we gained so much. We have a great deal to thank Mccabe's for in making this an experience never to be forgotten

The organisation was impeccable, from the point of booking to the boarding at Tel-Aviv at the end of the Pilgrimage. We were never left wondering what to do next and knew that we were perfectly safe at all times. What we appreciated was the knowledge that all our visits, meals and gratuities were paid for so that all we had to think about were gifts to take home and the odd cup of coffee!

We spent 7 days touring the holy land, Jerusalem and Galilee. This was an educational trip for a group of people who are studying for ordination in the church of England. We had an excellent time.

McCabe were excellent - I didn't have to worry about anything. The food was excellent and our guide was totally brilliant.
