A most instructive and informative pilgrimage, visiting all the important places of interest and some of the lesser known sites. it was well organised and guided, with good transport to the various places we visited. Two very good Hotels with good facilities and good catering, we lunched each day at different restaurants, each carefully selected by the tour operator.

McCabe are a very experienced tour operator specializing in Christian Pilgrimages, We have now travelled with them on three occasions and never been disappointed with their arrangements. They have good local representatives to look after you on each of their tours. They also supply good support to local organizers of Church Pilgrimages.

Everything was beautifully organised and arranged, and there were no hitches. The guide and the leader, Fr Ivan Aquilina, were so knowlegable and just couldn't have been better. The hotels were perfect.

The Mc Cabe rep was very helpful at the airport. All details were fully explained and comprehensively covered in the booklet before we went. A truly excellent all round experience.

I think because it was a pilgrimage as much as a holiday it was a very special ,happy experience.Having a Spanish guide enriched the cultural experience.

It was my first tour with McCabe holidays and I was very impressed. My friend had toured with them a few times previously and told me about those tours too,which she enjoyed and made me interested.

We walked the last 70 miles of the Camino de Santiago. Very well organised by McCabe and excellent local guide.

A short break - with guided walks on parts on the Cameno trail visiting sights of interest on the way. Very interesting and enjoyable - I would recommend the trip

Overall it was excellent experience. The Hotels chosen by McCabe's were very good in all aspects. The places visited were very interesting & varied. The walking we did & the activities carried out during the five days were an inspiration to most of my fellow travelers ( pilgrims). An marvellous experience which I hope to repeat in the future.

The group was large for this type of holiday but the last day was the only time that I found out some useful details about some members. The choice of parts of the Camino route was good, the visits to the monastery most interesting, due to the time we were given and the efforts of Eve our guide. The McCabe staff were good and helpful. This was a pilgrimage to be recommended as it combined prayerful time with real enjoyment. Some of the members seemed to find the amount of walking unexpected although there could have been a little more for some of us.

Took the trouble to adjust their admin to accommodate me as I live in Australia and was elsewhere in Europe until just before the tour departure. The choice of accommodation was good quality and the travel well managed.

As a Lutheran, this was a pilgrimage that I have wanted to do for many years. I have written a lengthy feedback to McCabes, with suggestions on how to alter the itinerary if they run the trip again. I enjoyed the trip. I learned a lot. My companions were interesting and the guide exceedingly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I shall enjoy re-running this trip - in my memory - for many years to come.

The service from McCabes was excellent. The tour was well researched and delivered. I would have allowed more time in Wittenberg and less in non-Lutheran venues.
