this was a pilgrimage trip with our church to the Holy Land. Over the 10 day trip the group visited different sites in Israel. The trip was very well organised by McCabe.

A group of 20 from St Mary's church, Lewisham in south London, shared a 10 day pilgrimage based first in Jerusalem then in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. Through our guide and regular times of prayer and discussion we learnt much about the holy places we visited. We received warm hospitality in our hotels, lunch venues and other places we visited, including the McCabe charities in Israel. It was a profound and moving experience for each of us and so many special moments will stay with us for ever. Our McCabe guide and general support was all excellent.

McCabe were helpful in the planning process - over the preceding 2 years. As the trip approached I was in touch, as priest and leader, to arrange many small aspects, which holy sites, where we could say mass, whay to include and what options to offer. Once there our guide and driver looked after us with great care for the 10 days. We were in Israel in mid-May 2018, coinciding with much violence in Gaza, demonstrations in Jerusalem and the opening of a new US embassy. This was a tense time and friends back home could see worrying images on the news each day. McCabe staff took great care to keep us safe, checking ahead at each venue for conditions and any problems. as a group of mixed age and mobility, our guide kept us together at a good pace. We had no accidents or health problems - which I have experienced with previous pilgrimages.

Parish pilgrimage from Lewisham. Just 20 of us so a good opportunity to get to know people better. 6 days in Jerusalem and then 3 days around the Sea of Galilee. Very busy schedule each day, but included time for services and meditation and socialising.

Had planned all the nitty gritty details like where to eat, what to eat, how much to pay, who to tip, who will deal with the luggage, so it was an anxiety-free holiday.

McCabes seem to be very experienced and competent and this was a major factor in making our holiday so enjoyable.

5 nights in Jerusalem with extensive visits in and around city and visits to Bethlehem, Bethany, Qumran, Dead Sea, Jericho, Jordan baptismal site, Ein Karem, Shechem, Samaria. 4 nights in Tiberias with visits to Cana, Nazareth, sites around Lake, Nain, Golan, Mt Tabor, Banias and Caesarea Maritima. It was fascinating to see all these places I've read about in the Bible over the years. Bus driver was first rate and guide passing excellent.

McCabe Travel had absolutely everything organised and the leaders were excellent.

A wonderful 10 days visiting a range of sites in the Holy Land marred by poor service from Easyjet and lack of forethought and planning by McCabe

As a tour operator running many tours each year to the Jerusalem and other sites in the Holy Land I am disappointed in their planning and forethought. Jerusalem Day falls on the same date each year and there is (I gather) always a risk of disturbances and riots. This year that risk was compounded by the US decision to open their embassy in Jerusalem. Both were known months before - it would have been better to have had our group in Jerusalem first and in Galilee at the end of the tour so that we were not in Jerusalem at this difficult time when our freedom to explore was curtailed. Late change of hotel in Jerusalem to one some distance outside the city was also very unfortunate. Choice of Easyjet as airline was, I assume, chosen for cost reasons. I suspect most of us would have preferred to pay more for better comfort and service.

Just incredible. Our guide was an incredibly knowledgeable, caring (our safety was an issue), funny and beautiful man that made my holiday a beautiful experience and highlighted the REAL issues going on in the country. It was spiritually uplifting and moving and will forever be in my heart as one of the best things I have done in my life.

No real stress and was a smooth operation which worked very well.
