This was a Christian Pilgrimage to the Holy Land and as such, it fulfilled all one could wish for. It was extremely busy, with no time for resting, but all the sites on the itinerary were visited, in spite of unusually poor weather in Petra and a need to reorganise the last couple of days. We did all the usual things one might expect of such a pilgrimage, and it put everything in perspective for me with regard to my faith and bible knowledge. The tone was set by our leader, who was sensitive to all the needs of members of our party, and I am truly grateful for having had the opportunity to join his group. Our guides, too, were extremely knowledgeable and also sensitive to the needs of the group members. Altogether a spiritually uplifting experience.

I have been on several McCabe pilgrimages, and would commend them to anybody wishing to partake in such an event. McCabe liaise with the tour leader and they put together a tour to suit the group. I have never had any complaints, and am already booked on my next tour in 2015.

Very interesting, good hotels. I found the Israelis very intimidating ( Customs or border officials at the airports for example) and unfriendly. Only hearing negative viewpoints about Palestinians was tiresome. We would have had a much higher opinion of the guide if his information was more objective and unbiased.

McCabe Pilgrimages have made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land a much less stressful experience than it might have been.

a good pilgrimage (not a holiday) well hosted with adequate hotels. I 've always wanted to go to the Holy Land and was not disappointed. It was a bit full-on - up at 6.30 everyday with a full programme, I came home for a rest! The lunches were good but we didn't need to have such large ones, taking up too long a period of the day. An excellent and high quality tour of Jerusalem and the Sea of Galilee area with an experienced and very knowledgeable guide to take us to the historical and religious venues. A culturally rich experience for anyone.

Very polished tour delivery - all ran like clockwork.

A real Pilgrimage - the sights and sounds of Jerusalem are current, but it seems to have been like that always. The relative calm of the few days by the Sea of Galilee were balm for the soul and I will remember for ever the celebration of the Eucharist at Tabgha, withe the backdrop of the Sea of Galilee.

McCzbe are obviously very experienced at planning tours round the Holy Land. there is great attention to detail, due care on all aspects of security,and the provision of an excellent guide. I would recommend a McCabe organised trip to anyone.

To visit sites that have such significance with the Biblical events over the last 3ooo years, was a humbling and joyous experience, one I will never forget, and one that will inform the rest of my life.

It was a guided pilgrimage through the places associated with Jesus Christ, from his birth in Bethlehem, via his early years in Nazareth and his lakeside ministry, to his death and resurrection in Jerusalem. Along the way, we also visited other locations connected with the Old and New Testaments including the Dead Sea and Masada.

McCabe is the 'Rolls Royce' of this kind of holiday. I have been fortunate to travel with them on number occasions and have never been disappointed. I also applaud them for their charitable giving.

The holiday was a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and Gallilee. It fulfilled all my wished and I would definitely recommend McCabe to anyone
