We wanted to study the Pre Hispanic civilisations and received an excellent overview in the time available. The expertise of the guides and their willingness to discuss ideas was a key element. often the guides came from an indigenous background so we had a broader insight than would otherwise have been the case. When our international flights home were disrupted JLA provided good support, so our holiday was not ruined.

The entire holiday was excellent. The coordination with local operators was superb; the accommodation was excellent; guides and drivers were both courteous and extremely helpful; and the excursions were very enjoyable. The 5D/4N Ausangate Trek exceeded all expectations.

The trip was originally booked for Spring 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was cancelled three times. JLA representatives were excellent with ensuring that the trip was rebooked each time and overcome all the obstacles due to cancellations and changes to international flights. I am confident in recommending JLA.

Journey Latin America helped us every step of the way from booking the tour and then rebooking when it was delayed because of covid to having representatives available on the ground while we were away. Everything ran very smoothly.

Once in a lifetime holiday for husband's 60th so very special. Challenging hike up Lares Pass in Peru (4,500 meters, 14,800 feet)! Good food, wine & beer, lovely guides, decent accommodation... Machu Picchu was the crown jewel of the trip.
