Best family holiday for a long time !

We wanted to take our 7 year old daughter on a holiday that would instill the sense of adventure in her and there is no better country to go to than Morocco to meet this objective. In our ten days we visited the souks of Marrakech and Essaouira, the Kasbahs in the Atlas Mountains, rode camels in the Sahara desert staying in fantastic small riads or hotels with friendly, helpful staff and comfortable accommodation. Our tour operator was Fleewinter. We normally arrange our holidays ourselves but this time we decided to use an agent. They listened to what we wanted from the holiday and put together the perfect itnerary for us and their pricing were not much more than if we had booked everything ourselves. We definitely got value for our money.

Marvellous Morocco

We had a superb holiday recently in Morocco - only marred by an ankle injury that I sustained early in our visit which was my own fault. The care of the staff and attention to detail at both venues where we stayed was excellent. The rooms, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff was great and the food served was worthy of a higher priced establishment.

I would certainly recommend Fleewinter as a travel agent and itinerary organiser. Great value! Their friendly and helpful manner made the booking experience easy and they made some excellent arrangements. Internal travel in Morocco was timely, comfortable and informative.

Excellent tour

Morocco - Fez / sahara desert / Ait Ben Haddou / Atlas Mountains Massively varied travel experience, from world heritage sites Fez and Ben Haddou to camping in the desert and trekking the mountains. Lots of travelling but well worth it. A fantastic experience, and all easily accessible from a short flight from the UK!

We stayed at the Riad Hikaya in the Medina. What a fantastic place to stay. Would recommend it to everyone. Through Fleewinter we had arranged for a guide for our 1st whole day (Tuesday) to orientate ourselves and Ali was really interesting and helpful. We visited the Souk, the Jewish quarter,Bahia Palace. Wednesday saw us taking a Caleche to the Majorelle Gardens, absolutely beautiful. Came back via the Tannery, definitely need the mint that the guide gives you!!! Then we visited the Hammam at the Riad and had an brilliant couple of hours, with massage and cleansing etc. Don't miss this !!! That evening our host gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday and the staff brought a Birthday Cake, heaven knows where they got that from !! On or last full day we again had a prebooked Guide and went trekking in the Atlas Mountains and had lunch at a Berber House. What a fantastic day out !! On our last morning we visited the Saadian Tombs and the Badia Palace. By then we felt really at home in the Medina. The whole holiday was just Brilliant !!!

Came across Fleewinter by accident and am really pleased that I did. They were rea information about the area. They listened to our requirements and together we came up with an itinerary that really worked. The accomodation that they suggested was wonderful. Our transport to/ from the airport was on time and the drivers very pleasant and helpful. We had also prebooked our guides for our day out in the Medina and Souk and also for our trip to the Atlas Mountains. Everything ran like clockwork so I would really recommend them.

A varied and fascinating experience, ranging from the attractions of a beautiful Riad and the bustle of the Marrakesh Souk to a luxury camp in the desert and the vast beaches of Sidi Kaouki and the allure of delightful Essaouira.
