Chauffeur was great, we went further north than most and did Anuradhapura and Minhintale, before going down to Sigiriya and Dambulla, great culture and antiquities. Mandy was interesting, Helga’s Folly, a particular highlight. Then train to Little England, Nuara Elisa, the colonialism and tea plantations were a different focus. Then went off grid, with camping, no electric, hot water or WiFi, and stayed inYala and did safari, seeing numerous different wildlife. Then sun sea and sand just outside Marissa, on iconic tropical deserted beach, with a evening trip to Galle, for Portuguese and Dutch influences. Exceeded our expectations.

‘Did what they said on the can’, clearly very knowledgeable on Sri Lanka, matched us with a super chauffeur that became an integral part of our holiday, but gave us space when we wanted it.

From the moment we made initial enquiry to arriving back home the service we received was excellent. We have seen unforgettable sites/wildlife, eaten some amazing food and met some truly inspiring people.

Nothing was too much trouble and their in depth knowledge of the country meant we had an unforgettable experience visiting places and meeting people many tourists would not see.

We had a varied holiday itinerary incorporating culture, safari/elephants, trekking and beach - what's not to like! Wonderful food, weather and the people we met were lovely.

Really knowledgeable about Sri Lanka, the places to stay and the things to do. Efficient, helpful, friendly people both in the office and in Sri Lanka.

Wonderful holiday booked only a week before we travelled ! We enjoyed all 6 of the places we had booked and for different reasons. Luxury accommodation, fabulous surroundings, views, swimming pools and some good food. We were looked after exceptionally well at every place and everyone so friendly. That's what we like about Sri Lanka, it's the whole experience, the countryside and the animals and the friendly faces, just love it !!

16 days travelling well trodden route - 'Cultural Triangle'/Kandy/'hill country'/Talpe near Galle Small hotels in 'Colonial' Style recommended by ETG. Driver guide for majority of holiday. Some activities included. Half board in more isolated locations.

ETG helped with itinerary and arrangements went smoothly for the most part. We would have liked to have had a detailed breakdown of costs pre holiday.

Something for everybody in Sri Lanka. Personal chauffeur/guide looked after us and made sure we sampled some of the more exotic foods. Good mix of monuments, temples and natural phenomena. Very interesting tour of the country, ending in Colombo.

First time with Experience Travel Group. They delivered everything you'd want from a travel company both before and during the holiday. Their local Sri Lanka rep was also very effective handling minor change of plan. Terrific local chauffeur/guide.
