An amazing trip to Ethiopia including the Bale Mountains, Simien Mountains, Lake Tana, Dallol Depression, Lalibela, Aksum & Gondar (for the Timkat celebration). A wonderful mix of culture, wildlife and scenery. Cedarberg as ever were excellent

Cape Town has changed a lot for the better since I last visited 20 years ago. The Waterfront has got a great buzz and people seem a lot more friendly. Next time we'll stay longer. Bukela was fantastic being so close to such beautiful creatures in a natural habitat was enthralling.

We had a wonderful holiday staying at four different locations in the Kwazulu Natal region of South Africa. Each location offered some different experiences: from exploring the craft areas in the Midlands; the beautiful scenery of the Drakensberg mountains; guided tours of some historic battlefield sites; and a safari on a game reserve. We stayed at some fabulous and welcoming places and had the opportunity to enjoy some wonderful experiences.

We used Cedarberg Travel to arrange our trip for us. They took time to understand our budget & preferences and, based our their detailed knowledge and insight, Cedarberg put together an outstanding itinerary for us, The hotels were welcoming, friendly and exactly as we would have chosen ourselves. The whole itinerary gave us the opportunity to experience many different aspects of the country with many unforgettable memories.

2 weeks in South Africa starting in Cape town for 4 days, 3 days in Franschhoek, 2 days in Swellendam, 3 days on the Crags and ending up in the Amakhala Game Reserve - a really good combination.

The organisation really was as close to perfect as you could get.

My wife and I spent a week in Cape Town, then hired a self drive car to visit the Cederberg region, followed by the Garden Route to Grahamstown tracking down information on my settler great, great, great, grandfather. We had an excellent walking safari experience at the Explorer Camp at Shamwari, highly recommended. Then to Durban and the Drakensberg where we had fine weather and hiking and can recommend the Cavern as a location. Having the luxury of some time on this trip we would spend at least two nights at each stop, which helped us to appreciate the special nature of each location. The visit exceeded all our expectations

We started planning a month long trip to South Africa a year ago and in the past we have always had good success working with AITO members. Cedarberg Africa provided us with excellent information on their website which is among the best I have seen for practical and useful information. Tasha put together a detailed itinerary, which met our special requirements and included lots of useful site information as well as detailed driving instructions. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Cedarberg Africa to anyone planning an African trip, safari or otherwise. While we had only one small transportation delay during the trip, the way this was handled by Cederberg confirmed to us that we always would have had great support for any issue that might have arisen.

A wonderful South African adventure

Cederberg Africa. There could be no better company to trust your travel arrangements to. Absolutely full on knowledge, amazingly patient and helpful organising your trip Nothing is too much trouble. We had a couple of minor things go wrong in SA ( no fault of Cedarbergs ) and they had it sorted in a nano second. Amazing customer care.

We stayed in 5 different lodges throughout South Africa and Botswana. We did game safaris at each place and saw some wonderful sites
