This was tailor made for us by Peter from Cedarberg and all the accommodation was suggested by him as being family friendly. The holiday was put together very efficiently with my input when required, and Peter got us flights cheaper than we could find ourselves. The holiday was fantastic - we were given detailed driving instructions and really useful notes about what things we could do in each location. There were agents in SA we could contact if needed, which felt reassuring although we didn't need to use them. The safari at the end was amazing - and it was great that Peter had chosen a reserve that allowed our 7 year old to come on the drives with us (many won't). I would highly recommend Cedarberg to anyone looking for a family holiday to Africa.

Tanzania in March

This was a three holiday and we went from Selous in the south through Ruaha up to the Serengeti. The lodges and camps we stayed in were all good value for money and the food was excellent. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Cedarberg did a great job of arranging this holiday. They sent us plans and we changed what we did not like and added things we wanted to do. The holiday was well organised and there were no hitches along the way despite there being a number of flights, changes of accommodation and guides. The guide they organised for our last 10 days was especially good.

Very Special Safari

We have traveled with Cedarberg before, but this holiday was a celebration of 40 years Marriage so I wanted it to be Great, and it was. I had a good idea of what to do and where I wanted to go. Two safari's in different places one was in Makweti/Waterberg area and one in the Mala Mala Kruger Park, small hotels Luxury, self drive mainly on good roads. inbetween we went to the Drakensberg Mountains and the Tzaneen area we were away for 16nights. We Stayed at the Makweti Safari Lodge in the Waterberg 5 rooms great attention to detail and fabalous food, next Kings Walden Garden Manor again great food rooms not as lovely but the bar was high, super food. Mala Mala in the Kruger Park a great experience all round saw every animal and lots of them, wonderful birds, we had our own Ranger Brendon who guided us through the bush and pointed us into the diningroom/bar nothing was too much trouble. Then the Drakensberg mountains we stayed at Highgrove house, it was quite but after the excitement of the safari, welcome. We toured around the area which was super and had great lunches out , and Dinners in. We finished out holiday at the wonderful again Fairlawns in Jo'burg highly recommended. We look forward to our next trip

Cederberg Travel our agent:- Peter, ( Although Everyone is familiar with Africa) Peter has the knowledge and had booked for us before, we had several conversations and a plan A then B by the time we got to Plan C I knew it was perfect. Being able to chat about what you hope to do and where you hope to go makes the whole thing a pleasure and exciting. He looked around for good deals and gave us price options. Once being unable to access the hotel, the gate on the drive was not working owning to a power failure. I called the office in the UK and spoke to Peter as the hotel phone line was unavailable, within five min's the gate opened and we drove the 2 miles and arrived to a cooling drink. Job well Done, Very personal service and that makes all the Difference

Spectacular, magical, awesome!!!

The winelands with the mountainous backdrop were very scenic and our day on the wine tram not only enabled us to sample great wine but was very sociable, meeting other travellers from all over the world. The Garden route gave us the opportunity to see some remarkable scenery, to stay in beautiful accomodation and to visit some very interesting wildlife conservation projects. The highlight of our trip came at the end of the holiday when we spent 3 days at Kichaka Game Reserve. It was my second safari expereince as I had visited Kenys some years ago and it was my friends first safari. I was a little anxious that it might not measure up to the Kenyan Safari experience but I need not have worried. We saw all the animals, many at very close proximity and being either on our own with our ranger or at most with 2 other guests we had a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and to soak in the sights without any other vehicles around us. The service and accomodation at Kichaka is impressive and as visitors who have travelled to a number of countries our whole holiday we rate as the best yet!! We would love to return to Africa and would certailnly use Cerarburg Travel again and we would certainly recommend it to others. It was truly a wonderful experience and we are privelaged to have been able to visit such a beautiful, interesting and unique country.

From first contact Milandi at Cedarberg Travel was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As first time visitors to South Africa we were given excellent advice and suggestions and Cedarberg responded to our enquiry very promptly providing a draft itinery within 2 hours!! All of our travel arrangements including tours whilst in Cape Town, our flights and car hire went without a hitch. The standard of the guest houses they recommended was extremely high and we have been impressed by their follow up on our trip - an e-mail awaited us on our return, welcoming us home and offerring a few suggestions on how to settle in after the trip and how to manage the many photographs taken of our holiday. We would certailnly use Cedarburg again and would highly recommend them to others as hey have first hand knowledge to offer.

What a trip!

Inspiring and entertaining. We visited Joburg, Durban and Cape Town. We had a packed schedule of tourist activities, meeting local entrepreneurs and NGOs and of course partying! It was a fascinating trip and I fell in love with South Africa.

Inspiring and entertaining. We packed a huge amount into a very ambitious trip. We were a pretty demanding group with a lot of very busy people. Ginny and her team handled us incredibly well. Incredibly impressed; they made the trip very smooth. Thanks all round.

Trip with 40 people across south Africa

We visited Jo'Burg, Durban and Cape Town. Cedarberg did our entire planning and did a stellar job. SO many different stops and trips to carry out. I was thrilled by their level of organization and efficiency. Not a single complaint!

They were absolutely STELLAR! Ginny was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made things happen. The bus even took us to places I didn't expect a bus to fit! But with that kind of driver (I don't remember his name, sorry!!!) it wasn't a problem. Whoever of my friends will be going to South Africa, you guys are on my list of recommended services. Thank you so much!

SafarICE Trip - 40 Entrepreneurs in South Africa

40 of us headed first to Entabeni, staying at the Ravenside Game Lodge. We were met by an amazing team who took us to see lions, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants and much more! We then headed back to Jo'burg, staying in the Fire and ICE. Our next stop was Durban at the Prince Edward and lastly Cape Town at Camps Bay Resort. We hiked up Table mountain, ate sushi on the waterfront and even hosted our first conference.

The first trip we have done for so long, with multiple stops and it went off completely without a hitch - and that was all thanks to Ginny and her team at Cedarberg African Travel. When I next return to Africa I won't hesitate before using the guys at Cedarberg again.
