Our Holiday incorporated 3 areas in Thailand, Bangkok, Surat Thani (Elephant hills) and Koi Samui. This allowed us to experience various experiences of city life, culture, nature and adventure before our final destination which allowed for a complete recharge and relaxation.

Our tour operator bushbaby travel was amazing. Abi responded extremely promptly to my initial enquiry and then from there onwards she provided information and suggestions on holiday ideas to suit our needs.

Mauritius is a lovely island, people are friendly, scenery is stunning and the food is good. This is all reflected in the 2 hotels we stayed at: Lux Grand Baie and Lux Le Morne. Everyone made us feel so welcome and were happy to chat. The weather was amazing during their winter time and the new experiences were wonderful - dolphins, turtles, tortoises, botanical gardens, temples and mountains.

Bushbaby are experienced in the travel industry and we value their knowledge of countries, hotels, tours and weather. They are very responsive and helpful with all our questions and queries. And the documentation packs they send out are very helpful - including visa and Covid information.

My husband, myself and 19 year-old son had a safari break in two halves - first spending 5 days at Ant's Nest on a riding safari - best way to get close to the animals (no elephant or lion to worry about). Then 6 days at Jaci's Safari Lodge on a 4x4 safari with private expert guide to see the big-5 and many other fascinating game viewing sights.

Bushbaby Travel are experts in organising this type of holiday. We've used them consistently to organise our safaris for the past 16 years - since our son was a toddler. They have great relationships with the lodges and good contacts in the region. Their advice and guidance is excellent.

We had a wonderful time away in the latest O&O hotel to open. There are definitely some teething problems with the hotel being so new but I don't think this is anything that can't be ironed out the longer they are open. The hotel is beautiful and there is lots to do in the nearby town. I would say the restaurants are lacking in variety, it is a shame there isn't a buffet option or something more generic as there are only 3 specific dining options so you aren't really encouraged to come back more than once. The gym and spa facilities are exceptional and we really enjoyed making the most of all the facilities and morning yoga classes. The staff are wonderful as ever and we were really well looked after. I would highly recommend doing a boat trip as the scenery is so beautiful, we will definitely be back.

Bush Baby were very helpful and accommodating as always, making sure we had everything we needed in the run up to the trip. They are always very helpful with communicating with the hotel and we had an issue with the hotel during our stay which they sorted out almost immediately for us meaning we did not have to worry about this and could enjoy the rest of the trip. We will continue booking all of our O&O trips through them!

Well worth the two year wait to go on our trip of a lifetime to South Africa and Zimbabwe. We spent four nights in Cape Town taking in the V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay at sunset and Seapoint for sundowners. The first highlight of the holiday was a day trip to Gaansbai to go out whale watching on the sea. The huge swell made you feel really alive and we saw some fantastic sealife. The next highlight was a half peninsular tour on a 1938 BMW motorcycle and sidecar. including the amazing Chapman Peak drive. A trip up Table Mountain to see where we had been topped off a brilliant visit to Cape Town. After a flight to Pretoria we joined Rovos Rail for a four night, three day journey into Zimbabwe. The food, wine and service were all excellent - unbelievable considering we were in renovated 1920's - very elegant -carriages! Excursions to Matabo and Hwange National Parks were fascinating and we saw plenty of wildlife. The jewel in the crown was arriving at The Victoria Falls Hotel where we spent two nights. It felt as if we were in a dream. The hotel is fabulous and the stunning setting overlooking the falls in the distance was breathtaking. It almost felt like being in a zoo at times. A helicopter ride and guided tour of the Falls afterwards completed the visit. Wonderful!!

We never really felt that we were on our own. Even if Abi was out of the office she still seemed to be looking out for us. Bushbaby were brilliant and we would wholeheartedly recommend them. They did everything they could to make the holiday work like clockwork. All the transfer drivers were very helpful and on time.

We had a week on safari at two different lodges in Botswana , then 4 nights in Cape Town followed by 3 nights in Franschhoek.

Bushbaby Travel were extremely helpful. They organised a bespoke trip around our requirements and were particularly helpful in suggesting hotels in South Africa that we might like. The ones they chose for us were outstanding and exactly what we wanted. All the arrangements, transfers etc. worked like clockwork and we were extremely happy with the whole trip

Amazing trip to Namibia, everything went to plan and was worth the 2 year Covid wait. We enjoyed so many wonderful sights and had no issues with the sometimes tricky roads. Emily at Bushbaby had given us all the knowledge that was needed to drive in Namibia and still have a relaxing experience and informative experience.

A brilliant 10 days holiday staying in Filitehyo in the Maldives. A beautiful Maldives island a sea plane away from Male. Beautiful sandy beaches, and excellent snorkelling and diving. The resort staff and food are excellent. Stayed in a beach bungalow right on the beach.

BushBabies pulled together an excellent itinerary for us, and sourced the holiday at a good price with full flexibility to amend holiday until 6 weeks before we travelled when flights had to be confirmed. All travel and transfers went without a hitch, and their local partner advised on things such as local covid rules and how to buy wi-fi locally.

12 nights at the One and Only St Geran in Mauritius.

Bushbaby are and always have been 5 star tour operators and we have had many holidays arranged by them. It must have been very trying to keep having to move holidays because of Covid (ours was moved three times) but they seamlessly did it. Their response time to any query is almost immediate and nothing is too much trouble. I have recommended them to several friends already and we wouldn't use anyone else for long haul travel.

We booked a last-minute week's stay at the Intercontinental Fujairah. It proved a good-value option that ticked nearly all our boxes. The hotel is a pretty resort situated right on a big beach. The rooms were well appointed with all the mod-cons you'd expect from a high-end resort. The resort facilities were good but a little tired in places and there was maintenance going on during our stay meaning the main pool was closed for 3 days. We stayed on a half board basis. The food in the main restaurant was good but Ramadan rules meant it was local cuisine every night rather than the usual rotation of themes so it did get a bit "samey" after a couple of nights. We ate at Drift which was excellent but the half board doesn't allow for dine around or a credit towards your meal there making it an expensive option.

Bushbaby always provides an excellent, highly personalised service. They take the time to listen to what you're looking for in a holiday and go above and beyond to ensure they deliver it. We booked last minute this time so were struggling to find availability in our first choice resorts so Bushbaby were able to recommend an alternative and we trusted their recommendation - it didn't disappoint! As always, all the arrangements were faultless.
