Walking with Hadrian!
A six day walk along the Hadrians Wall Path from Newcastle to Bowness - no rain at all, lots of Roman remains, excellent food and good walking. What more can you ask for!!

Cannot find fault - all paperwork was sorted efficiently and arrived well in advance of the walk. The information given was very comprehensive. On the walk itself all accommodation was very good and the bag transfer went without a hitch
Thank you for your lovely feedback Steve. We're delighted to hear that you had a great holiday on the Hadrian's Wall Path without a single drop of rain! Thank you once again for your booking and we hope to hear from you with regards to your next walking adventure! Best wishes, Pippa Robson

Cairngroms Walking Holiday
Wonderful experience from the planning though the actual visit! Absolute Escapes provided an exceptional travel experience from the first e-mail/phone call to their recommendations and guidance! We could not be any happier and can't wait for another visit to Scotland which we will do with Absolute Escapes.

wonderful walking tour on the SWCP
Hiking along the SWCP was a great experience to us. Last year we went from St Ives to Coverack. It was mavelous. And we thought, this year it couldn’t be as great as last year. But it was. We enjoyed the trip very much, the breathtaking view all day long and the wonderful path, the well chosen nice accomodations and the length of the day‘s stage was exactly suitable for us. The team of Absolute Escape planned our tour very exactly and offered optimal adaptation to our needs in length of the day‘s stage and accomodations.
Thank you for your lovely review Berta. The South West Coast Path is such a wonderful walk and we're delighted we were able to make the arrangements for your trip and help you explore another section this year. You're well on your way to completing all 630 miles, so if we can be of any assistance for future walks please do get in touch. With best wishes, Megan Bruce.

West Highland Way
I walked over five days, and was blessed with some very good weather. The early days along Loch Lomond were great, but my favourite days were further on in the mountains and valleys. I walked by myself, but you start to see some familiar faces along the way, and in the hotels at night which is nice. It's a wonderful experience, that i highly recommend.

The pre-trip communications were timely and comprehensive, and the information pack provided was very useful. I was really pleased with the quality of the accommodation, at all venues the staff were friendly and the rooms and meals were excellent. I am contemplating a similar holiday next year, and will definitely use Absolute Escapes again.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We're delighted that you enjoyed your walking holiday on the West Highland Way, and that the arrangements we made showcased some of the best of what Scotland has to offer!
It was our pleasure to organise your trip and we look forward to welcoming you back for another walking holiday soon. All the very best, Charlotte Wood.

Smoothly organised and enjoyable!
Walking a national trail is an amazing journey and having all my accommodation and transfers when needed all organised, makes the whole process easy. I only had to focus on putting one foot in front of the other and enjoy the walking.

Great self-drive Scotland Tour with B&B's
2.5 days in Edinburgh, them FT. William, Skye, Aviemore, back to Edinburgh. Hiking, sightseeing, Scottish music. All b&B's provided were excellent. No issues with rental car. We had asked for economy automatic, wound up with Mercedes at no extra cost (that's all they had). Actually enjoyed driving on single track roads. All info provided by Absolute escapes was excellent.

Lots of information provided. Took into account our desires for type of trip. Good and very timely pre-trip communications. B&B's provided and car rental all very good. I would highly recommend.
Thank you for your wonderful review, Bruce. It was our absolute pleasure to assist you and Steven with the planning for your trip, and we're so glad you enjoyed your time exploring Scotland. First Timers!
We chose the Herriot Way as it offered a slightly shorter route for our first adventure. We relied heavily on the route provided and were grateful for the extra details and comments which kept us on track. The luggage transfer worked like clockwork. Each hotelier was knowledgable and went the extra mile - one even washed our wet, muddy trousers and placed them in the boot drying room for morning. Each hotelier was knowledgable and went the extra mile - one even washed our wet, muddy trousers and placed them in the boot drying room for morning. We were particularly impressed with the standard of accommodation as we assumed we might be compromised given we had a small dog in tow. The Herriot Way was a good way to ‘dip our toes’ but now we’ve got the bug and are researching our next trip.

They provided everything we needed for our first walking holiday. It worth paying for their expertise.
Thank you very much for your fantastic feedback Samantha, I'm delighted to hear that you, Ian, and Hector enjoyed your time on the Herriot Way and caught the "walking bug". We look forward to assisting you with your next walk holiday! Best wishes, Pippa Robson

Wonderful wander on the SWCP
Absolute Escapes clearly know their stuff. Our accommodation was first class, evening recommendations spot on, and communication with their specialist was friendly and efficient. Not least, our walk on the South West Coast Path from Poole to Weymouth was incredibly beautiful. Thanks for organising the great weather too!

Thank you very much for your fantastic review, Kristian. The South West Coast Path is one of our favourite long-distance trails in the UK and we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed it. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if we can assist with your plans to walk the rest of the route - the section between Padstow and Penzance is particularly beautiful! All the best for 2019. Rob Roy Way Walking Holiday with Absolute Escapes
My partner and I went to Scotland at the end of September to walk for about a week. I had not taken part in a journey like this before, but my partner had. I was hesitant about the experience, but have come home raving about it and cannot wait to take part in one again. We walked for a few hours every day through glorious countryside and landed in quaint villages and towns with plenty to explore. Even when tired from the walking, we refreshed ourselves in order to get out to the pub. All of our accommodations were lovely and each host made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I would recommend every single place that we stayed! The walks themselves varied greatly from day to day and we were constantly in awe of the scenery. Even if we encountered rain, there was always a rainbow. We can't wait to go back!

Absolute Escapes was wonderful to work! I come from a travel industry background, so I can be picky. But everyone that I had contact with was helpful and friendly, providing all of the information we would need to prepare properly and get from point A to B each day. They booked the most wonderful accommodations for us along the way, and our luggage was carried ahead for us so that we only had to carry what we need for the day. I would book with Absolute Escapes again without question.
Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback Christine. We are so delighted to hear that you enjoyed your first long-distance walking trail, the Rob Roy Way is such a rewarding walk which travels through some absolutely lovely scenery in Scotland. We hope to welcome you back for another walking holiday soon. Best wishes and a very Merry Christmas, Fern Urquhart

Five glorious weeks in Scotland
We began in Edinburgh for five days, then began our driving adventure northward through the Kingdom of Fife, where we did a spectacular walk on the Coastal path. This was a complex trip and Absolute Escapes did a perfect job of organizing it in great detail for us. The driving directions, accommodations, sightseeing recommendations, and restaurant recommendations were all spot on. Plus, they were friendly and wonderful to deal with. We would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Scotland.
Thank you for your excellent review, Marsha. We were delighted to hear you and Steve had such a memorable time travelling around Scotland, 5 weeks is a wonderful amount of time to dedicate to exploring our beautiful country. We're glad all the arrangments were spot on and if we can ever assist in the future please don't hesitate to contact us. Best wishes, Jason Martin
