Immersive cultural experience in Scotland

Wilderness Scotland brought Scottish music, history, wildlife, nature, food and drink to their entire trip. I was so delighted with what I got out of this trip. I'll definitely be looking here in the future.

Rating for tour operator:

Our guide sang a Scottish hyme to us in the whisky cave on Mull. We saw a lot of wildlife and I really appreciated how considerate they were about bathroom breaks and making sure we had plenty to eat and drink. The accommodations they booked were amazing and comfortable.

Walking - The West Highland Way by Lekvar, 1 Jun 2024
Holiday Rating:

an achievement with pleasure

15 relative strangers were guided through 96 miles of mixed terrain over seven days. We learned about hiking, aspects of Scottish culture and history and were pleased with ourselves for having completed the hike and for having had good fun in doing it.

The tour operator was organized and covered all aspects from accommodation, transportation, food and lodging and especially in providing two excellent guides: Andy Heald and Joe Mann. They are expert hikers, group managers, representatives of Scotland and the U.K. and a pleasure to hike with.

A fabulous hike on the West Highland Way

I had an amazing time hiking the West Highland Way through Wilderness Scotland! It was challenging but invigorating and rewarding, and I met so many great people. The highlands are beautiful, and it was an incredible week.

Highlights of the Highlands hiking trip

This trip was a wonderful experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a great personality. The hikes were scenic and interesting. The accommodations were not only comfortable, they were also very interesting. The hotels were destinations themselves. The food was excellent and authentic to the region. Service was excellent from the time of booking the trip until the final drop off point.

Great experience with Wilderness Scotland

I found Scotland to be an amazing place. The landscape was awe inspiring, the people are so friendly, and we really enjoyed the outdoor challenges we undertook. Our kayak trip with Wilderness Scotland was great. Our equipment was good quality, our guides were awesome, I felt well fed and I was genuinely sad to leave. I didn't want to come home.
