We had Wilderness Scotland arrange our West Highland Way adventure - setting our own agenda they were tasked with booking our accommodation and arranging the bag forwarding service. All locations were excellent and the overall package price was affordable. We were free to carry just our day packs and enjoy the fabulous Scottish highlands for 8 days &160km walking.

Wilderness Scotland were amazing. We first booked just prior to COVID from Australia and border shutdowns meant we had a 1 year hiatus, then we rebooked to find that our borders were closed again, rebooked but again thwarted due to a family emergency and ultimately managing the estate. Fourth time lucky and the team were with us every step of the way, reassuring us that our funds were held in trust and would be available when we were finally able to do the walk.

It was everything I hoped - great scenery, informative guide, great food and comfortable accommodations after solid days of hiking.

Widerness Scotland took care of everything. They answered all my questions at the front end and provided everything they promised - including a great guide, nice accommodations and good food. I guess they could have made it rain less but since they warned us what to expect we all had good rain gear and enjoyed it all.

It was a fantastic experience! The sights were absolutely beautiful, the group was fun, and the guide was both encouraging and helpful.

We had a fantastic, worry-free trip to the Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides thanks to Wilderness Scotland and our wonderful guide, Joe. The hiking, scenery and wildlife were all fantastic. We saw a whale, dolphins, seals and otters as well as many different birds. It felt like the trip of a lifetime.

They were very easy to deal with and answered al questions promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip through them.

History, geography, wildlife in a small group with a very knowledgeable guide on Shetland. Beautiful vistas of the rugged coastline. Awesome birding experience with puffins, gannets, gallinules and more. Fabulous week long stay in wonderfully preserved hotel.

Wilderness Scotland was extremely communicative along the whole process of booking our trip. They promptly answered all emails and if one person was out of the office, another picked up the messages. Would definitely look at traveling with them again.

We started in Fort William, stayed three nights to hike and canoe in the area. We stopped in Arisaig to sea kayak on our way to Portree. We stayed three nights on Skye and hiked there as well.

Wilderness Scotland prepared us thoroughly for our trip by working out an itinerary that was suitable for our family (two adults and two teens) as well as giving us information on what we would need to be prepared for our activities. We had an excellent guide who emphasized respect for the land and culture and gave us the historical background of the areas we visited. We were able to see places off the beaten path that we would not have been aware of if we had planned the trip on our own. We absolutely fell in love with Scotland and hope to be back soon.
