New England driving holiday from Shenandoah NP in Virginia to Arcadia NP in Maine, via Niagara Falls & across Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachussets ending in Boston, including day trips to Newport Rhode Island & Cape Cod. I prepared the outline of the 3 week holiday and Vacations to America sorted the flights, Heathrow to Dulles, Logan to Heathrow, the car hire & the hotel accommodation to suit the itinery.

As above an itinery was prepared for them to quote & bulk out the itinery. A budget was given & the all inclusive quote was not exceeded. Basically all the costs were included in the quote & where they could not include the cost, these were known about & detailed (e.g. car hire drop off 1 way charge)

A fried recommended Vacations to America to help plan and book our bespoke holiday to Nashville, Memphis & New Orleans, along with a seven night trip down the Mississippi on the American Queen. It was a trip of a lifetime from which we return with so many wonderful memories of the music cities, that fabulous paddle steamer, the Grand OleOprey, Graceland, the French Quarter....the list is endless.

Thoroughly professional, knowledgeable with an inside knowledge of the cities to ensuire the best located hotels. Planning and attention to detail was meticulous, communications outstanding and all in all, we coule not have asked for more

Our holiday for my husband, older daughter and myself was a road trip round the New England states. We knew where we wanted to go and the travel company made the arrangements. We flew from Scotland to Boston, spent time in Boston, collected a hire car and stayed for 3 nights in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

We had made a similar trip to New England using Vacations to America before so we were happy to use them again. Kerry Sheppard who planned and arranged our vacation was superb and understood exactly what we wanted. She was happy to make suggestions and to work with us to customise our trip. We booked quite late for the Fall which is always a popular time and prices inflated but she was able to keep to our budget by ‘shopping around’ We were kept updated during the process and the maps, directions and information booklet was excellent. Very happy with the service from Vacations to America and would happily recommend the company.

We had a fabulous 5week trip and used Vactions to America to book our accommodation and plan a route for us to fullfill our wishes. We loved NewEngland in the Fall 🍁

From the start they listened to what we were looking for on our 5 week trip and provide an amazing tailor made booklet for us to take with us, listing all our hotels and Inn’s booked along with things to do in each city and small towns, this was on unexpected gem. Everything went very smoothly on arrival at our13 accommodations and even during our trip when unexpected changes needed to be made Julia (the agent with VA ) spoke to the accommodation and Kerry emailed to keep us up to speed. Out of the13 accommodations 11 were equal to or better than expected, however 2 did not offer the services expected by this we mean unavailable pool/restaurant/bar. We understand that this is difficult to get of ahead of but some kind of feedback facility mid trip would have be beneficial.

We spent 19 nights in New England, staying in 7 different Inns/Hotels. We had a hire car and drove over 2000 miles and went through 6 New England states, starting and finishing in Boston.

Great service

Flight out with Virgin, premium economy class, fell short. They had run out of meals described on the given menu, on all courses. Very poor, even though the premium section was half empty. Customers have to check in 24 hours prior to departure, so numbers must be known. We were even delayed on the plane for 90 minutes prior to take off because of refuelling issues, surely that time could have been put to use for the lack of meals. Felt sorry for the cabin crew who were trying their best to impart this information to the passengers. Car hire with Hertz was exceptionally good. Collecting and returning vehicle was dealt with efficiently and courteously., one of our best experiences with a car hire firm. On reaching the villa, we were very shocked to find extreme damage to storm shutters which were in a complete mess, with slats ripped. This obviously impacted on the view. Unfortunately it had only been discovered by the rental company that morning, which caused last minute concerns. They had notified our tour operator, who had attempted to email us. This email wasn’t received until we were at the villa and logged on their WiFi. The rental company did all they could to rectify the issue and staff were helpful with offering alternative accommodation. Do have a problem with rental companies not keeping the tour operators up to date with the accommodation. We were expecting the pool to be screened, however that had been damaged and taken down quite a while ago. No instructions for any appliances were found. This was mentioned but was ignored.

Wonderful, as usual. They go the extra distance in being helpful. Always enjoy booking with them and talking with the staff.

Fabulous holiday to Marco Island Florida. The booking process is always easy. I generally give the member of staff my holiday dates, where I want to go and any other details ( sea view etc) and leave it with them. Within a few days they get back to me with a few options to choose from. If this are not what I want or like they will search again. I cannot fault their Customer service, they are always helpful, polite and informative. How villa on Marco was beautiful. It was situated in a very good place with easy reach to the local beach and near the restaurants for evening meals. We had a wonderful 14 nights. Vacations to America dealt with our flights and car hire as well. It was and always has been a very smooth booking process. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic road trip taking in Yosemite national park, Death Valley , San Francisco and Las Vegas..

The information in the booklet and maps were excellent, although we could have done with revised instructions for the journey from Yosemite to Death Valley as the summer road was still closed.

We had a fantastic time in the Orlando area doing the theme parks during the first week and a fantastic but more relaxed second week in Manasota Island on the Gulf Coast.

Very knowledgeable and happy to listen to our exact requirements.

Mainly a driving tour from SF to AL via Yosemitre, made extra special by the excellent support advice and knowledge of Vacations to America.

The whole team is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. They know the whys and the wherefores, the must dos and donts and the little bits of detail that we would not have found out by just browsing the internet. Cannot recommend this company more highly, thank you to everyone at VTA.
