My father in law, a walking veteran of some 60 years, said this was the most beautiful walk of his lifetime. He was not lying.

My second walk arranged by Mickledore and I couldn't be happier. Co-walkers experienced botched bookings and problems with hotels. I didn't have a single issue. The B&Bs were always acceptable-good standard, some were spectacular. I could concentrate on my walking and had no worries in the world.

As with many people this summer, the Coast to Coast in 16 days was a wonderful trip. Our accommodation was great, the walking and scenery was first class, enhanced by the fact we had no rain and the people we met provided great company, several of whom we have kept in touch with.

We have used Mickledore several times before and never been disappointed. I enquired about the C2C quite late and Mickledore went the extra mile (a walking pun there) to arrange things and arrange alternative accommodation and transfers where the usual places weren't available.

Mickledore Travel were recommended to me so I had few expectations. I also knew next to nothing about the coast2coast route or a walking holiday. The folk at MT have been excellent, helping me choose and get setup for a walking event that incorporates 13 different overnight stays and transport. Everything went off like clockwork. MT also provided excellent documents, a handy book with all the details for my travels, maps and a C2C book. They also.have a great app for the phone which I used everyday. Lastly, any question I asked via the phone or email were very promptly answered. Can't fault MT in any way, would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Very good, we loved the places we stayed and the walk was very nice. We will go back to England for an other walk.

Everything was goed arranged. If we go back it is with Mickeldore again, it was fine we could book the holiday in our language wat makes its easier to understand.

We walked Wainwright's coast to coast 192 miles in June. The weather was exceedingly kind to us with sunshine and dry days throughout. The scenery was stunning and exceeded our expectations. We particularly loved Swaledale. I must have taken over 1000 photos along the way.

Mickledore delivered a superbly organised walking holiday. Everything ran to perfection, from the Sherpa van transport of our bags, and our drop off in St Bees to start the walk and pick up in Robin hood's Bay.Parking our car in the Sherpa van compound worked really well for us too. All the B&Bs were of a very high standard and many had baths! Mickledore listened to what we wanted in terms of mileage each day and devised an excellent itinerary. This was our second experience of the company and we will definitely book with them again.

Two weeks walking Coast to Coast from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay was the best experience and a real challenge. I loved how our fitness levels improved day by day. The camaraderie of fellow walkers and the welcome from our overnight hosts at accommodation along the way made it special too. Everything to make our day easy was organised - starting with a hearty breakfast and to get us on our way packed lunches. Drying rooms to sort out our wet gear and comfortable ensuite rooms, meant that we could relax and enjoy our route planning, all the details were taken care of. Luggage always got to where it was meant to be and on time. Mickledore picked some great B&B's and small Inns, which would have meant a lot of research if I tried to find similar myself. When I needed to call the office someone was there to help. Loved every minute of the holiday even the rain and sore feet!

Organisation of accommodation and baggage moves outstanding very high standard of b&b used. Easy to use map and book for navigation for coast to coast and felt completely safe as a single woman doing this walk . When communicating with staff at mickledore nothing was too much bother very quick, helpful and professional . Not a single problem or complaint on 12 day tour .

Walking the C2C with baggage transfer. had a great time meeting lots of people on the way. As we kept criss - crossing each other friendships were made and these made the walk more enjoyable. Although we had a couple of days with rain following Storm Hector we were lucky in the weather became warmer and sunnier as we reached the halfway point. Then as everyone else in the UK we had wall to wall sunshine and good weather making the views even better. The welcome sight of Robin Hoods and the finish after 200 miles was greeted with a welcome pint or 2 in the Bay Horse. After the customary dipping of the feet and dropping the pebble in the sea. Memorable all the way.

Mickledore booked all our accommodation and baggage transfers. All the B & B's were good to excellent and everything went smoothly. They had Some great stopovers and lovely landladies etc. too many to single out. Would certainly use them again.

Excellent from the outset, from the date of booking, to overnight stays and the information pack, maps and complimentary Stedman edition of the walk. Their chosen accommodation was comfortable, clean and contained all that we needed. The listings of eateries, atm's and taxi firms if needed is good. I am looking forward to using this company for when I book my next walking holiday.
