Marvelous Moroccan magic

A short break to Morocco in February was all we wanted it to be - interesting , a total get away , easy to travel around and gave us a real break. We visited Marrakesh and stayed in small Riad in the medina which is the perfect place to stay - so different . Incredibly welcoming hosts and interesting historic riad added to the magic . Second place was Essaouira - 25 degrees and sunny and not too crowded made it a winner - again staying in a Riad with rooftop terrace where you could hear the sea and eat breakfast . Such an interesting place where Africa meets Europe . I recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all !

A great introduction to Morocco- lovely Winter Sunshine

We booked it at short notice and Barbara at Fleewinter was very helpful in arranging details . Just the right amount of time in Marrakech, taking in the sights, sounds, souks and smells of this busy amazing city. A trip to the Atlas Mountains was wonderful and some relaxing days in Essaouira was a wonderful antidote to grey wet cold England.

Moroccan holiday with English weather

Short trip to Marrakech and Essouria, terrible weather which affects essouria far more , limited options for sightseeing. Marrakech has more options but many events affected by weather. Bear in mind this was an extremely unusual weather pattern, but we found just enough to enjoy trip.

Thank you for your feedback John, what a pain about the weather - it is very unusual for this to happen in Morocco!

exceeded our expectations

Exhilarating, sun, spices, life. Morocco is an interesting country so different from the UK yet only 3 and a half hours away in the same time zone.So much more to it than desert and camels. We enjoyed meeting people, learning about different cultures and watching life go by, it made us think how trivial some of our perceived problems are.

I had never heard of Fleewinter before researching holidays to Morocco. I was a little hesitant about using a company I'd never heard of before - how wrong could I be? Anna was helpful, quick to answer emails and, when we changed our minds, she rearranged all that she had previously arranged until we were completely happy with our itinerary. It was great knowing that there was someone in the background while we were actually on holiday too. Anna was able to adjust a taxi transfer at the last minute for us. She made us feel very relaxed about our holiday. The moment we returned home I was busy exploring the Fleewinter website to see where we could go next!

My friend and I just returned from a magical 6 days in Morocco which had been beautifully curated by Jenna from FleeWinter. Everything was perfect, with all the transfers and arrangements very well thought through. Her hotel recommendations were impeccable. Always helpful and informative, our booking experience with FleeWinter was effortless. Highly reccomend!

Morocco elopement and honeymoon

We went to Dar Ayniwen just outside of Marrakech and also the Rebali Riads just south of Essaouira. We got married in a very private ceremony at Dar Ayniwen which was absolutely beautiful. We were relaxed the entire time and completely pampered. We definitely fell in love with Morocco and the Moroccan culture and can't wait to go back.

Short visit to Morocco including three days each in Marrakech and Essaouira

Three days in Marrakech staying at a nice and well-positioned riad in the Medina. The time here was spent walking around and seeing the souks and sites and the evenings trying out some of the restaurants and cuisine. A visit and walk in a Berber village a couple of hours outside of Marrakech provided a nice and quiet constrast to the city. The time in Essaouira was spent in a villa in a quite village of Sidi Kaouki and thirty minutes drive from the town of Essaouira. Half-day trip spent exploring the town which has a very different look and feel to Marrakech. This included eating at one of the many seafood restaurants all with very fresh produce. Otherwise we stayed near our riad and explored locally.

Rating for tour operator:

We found dealing with Fleewinter quite refreshing compared to the larger operators we have used in the past. There was no hard sell, information was clear and direct, the quote and any adjustments were promptly handled and they were available for any subsequent questions we had - in fact they encouraged you to talk with them rather than email. The trip we organised with them went well with no issues occuring that affected our enjoyment.

Brilliant 2 centre holiday in Morocco organised perfectly by Fleewinter

Daughter and I flew independently with EasyJet from Luton to Essaouira and hired car with Europcar for 11 days. Stayed in marvellous Rebaldi Riads owned and operated by Fleewinter. Fabulous site managed by Mohammed and Fatima with great staff. Truly lovely site and only 15 minutes from airport and 30 minutes from the pretty town of Essaouira. Fabulous site managed by Mohammed and Fatima with great staff. Truly lovely site and only 15 minutes from airport and 30 minutes from the pretty town of Essaouira. After a week we transferred by car to Kasbah Angour in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains outside Marrakech. 4 nights in wonderful setting with individual rooms around splendid gardens and pool with snow covered mountains as backdrop. Stunning! 40 minutes to mountains or Marrakesh. Flew home independently by Ryanair from Marrakech to Stansted. Highly recommend Fleewinter for a great holiday arranger and provider.
