Guided Tour of Renaissance Art in Florence and the Early Medici

A brilliant analysis of the early Paintings, frescoes and architecture in Florence by Paula Nuttall. A great way to observe in detail the paintings and learn about what they meant to people at the time and the techniques in making them.Plus informatyion on the history of the time. Tour assisted by husband Geoff who dealt with the details of all the visits to the churches and museums. Excellent hotel accomodation and breakfast and so convenient...

Rating for tour operator:

Everything went very smoothly including arranging extra days to stay on in the hotel and flight home. Very clear brochure about what we were going to do each day and we did. This was our first time with Ciceroni and it was excellent ,most enjoyable.

Wonderful

Visited museums, galleries and churches in Florence, connected with the early Medici family. Expertly guided by Paula and Geoffrey Nuttall. Weather hot and sunny. Stayed at Hotel degli Orafi. Beautiful 4* Hotel near the Ponte Vecchio. I will always remember this holiday and want to go back to Florence as soon as possible.

Efficient, enjoyable, memorable

Ciicceroni's educational tour of Castile and classical Spain was meticulously organised and professiionally delivered. Our first experience of the company and already we have booked our next (different) destination for June/July 2016. A congenial group of 24 participants added to our enjoyment of the holiday. The accommodation and food were of an unexpectedly high standard.

Estupendo

Fully comprehensive tour of Castile and Leon staying in wonderful historic venues with fascinating visits to castles, cathedrals, churches, art collections and historic Roman sites. We were escorted by our team organiser and tour manager together with excellent local guides. The food was diverse and delicious and very much of the region we were in.

Another amazing Ciceroni tour

A wonderful and informative exposure to the history, art and culture of Spain. Much ground was covered but in a way that balanced a wide range of towns cathedrals, churches, castles, with their respective points of interest, relaxed dining, and a measure of free time. All thanks and compliments go to Tom Duncan, who led the tour the with his customary brilliance of knowledge and wit, and his assistant David Sketchley.
