We had a marvelous time walking in the Karst region of Slovenia

It was a very well-planned route with accommodations better than we could have arranged on our own

We walked from Ljubljana to Trieste on a route devised and described by OnFoot and guided by a comprehensive narrative, map and app (including gps). All hotels were arranged by OnFoot who also arranged extra nights at some hotels in accordance with our wishes.

We have walked with OnFoot on 4 occasions and have always been well looked after. The pre holiday information is clear and timely, all calls and emails are answered promptly and everyone we have had dealings with has been friendly and professional. We were well supported throughout the holiday with our local guide taxiing us to the start of the walk and providing really interesting information. An email to the office was responded to within an hour and fully addressed my query.

Wonderful customised self-guided walking holiday through both the mountainous and Karst region of Slovenia. Excellent customer service from On Foot Holidays, they could not have been more helpful. The walking pack and all the supporting documentation was comprehensive and thorough. The new On Foot app was easy to use, accurate and an asset to guiding us on the correct path. The walks were correctly graded with varied landscape and spectacular reviews. The accommodation varied from tourist farm to hotel and all were of a good standard. The meals, which were largely included, were delicious.

All the staff at On Foot Holidays could not have been more helpful. All the documentation was excellent as was all the other aspects of the holiday. We will certainly use them again. Thank you

We walked through the Karst area of Slovenia and thoroughly enjoyed it. The walking was challenging but that is how we like it! We had clear instructions for every day. No complaints from us!

Varied and pleasant walks each day with interesting accommodation at the end of each walk. Hosts were friendly and charming. Local food and wine, much to explore. Routes recommended offered solitude and spectacular views of landscape and flora and fauna.

It was superbly organised from start to finish, and quite simply the BEST holiday we have ever had. We got to experience true wilderness in beautiful Slovenia, and were superbly looked after on 6 consecutive nights, by all of the different hosts in each of the places we stayed along the walk. We would recommend this holiday to anyone who is reasonably fit, has a sense of adventure, and wants to discover a country that must still be one of the best-kept secrets in Europe.

Walking thru Slovenia's Karst to Trieste Italy over five days. Great family run accommodations offering wonderful meals or great recommendations for dinner. Well described routes thru forests, vineyards and villages. A wonderful experience in friendly Slovenia!

A local representative is available to assist ; on call to assist as needed. we had the need on this trip for assistance. The response was immediate! We were able to get a lift to our next set-up and enjoy the small town; A potentiality negative and tiring experience turned into a positive.

An interesting walk through varied and lovely countryside, sometimes with stupendous views. Slovenia was new to us and its history and mitteleuropean location was fascinating.

This was planned pre-covid, but we finally got to do it Sept 2023. The Karst - culture and landscape. Prsut, Teran wine and disappearing rivers in the eastern part of Slovenia. Staying is small farm hotels or B&Bs. Wonderful trails, food, wine, people and views. Pack your bags and head to Slovenia, a real gem.

This is the second time for us with On Foot Holidays and I say they are FANTASTIC. We have used a number of walking holiday vendors and we find On Foot the BEST! Just the right vibe.
