We had a fantastic week hiking on the Isle of Skye. We covered multiple areas on the island and also visited Raasay.

Our hiking guide was competent, compassionate, and friendly. I would definitely hike with him again.

It was an outdoor experience where we as a group bonded beautifully as we hiked over breath taking terrain. Each day was a little different. The boat rides were exciting. The staff on the boats were most welcoming, as were all the people whom we encountered. The entire group enjoyed the vacation.

David was extremely accommodating to all our needs, right down to the numerous snacks that he had packed away in the van. He was enthusiastic and showed pride in doing a good job which was keeping us all satisfied and engaged in our journey of exploring the Isle of Skye. He shared some of the history of the area, stories of the ruins, and the names and uses of some of the plants —— all very interesting.

Great hiking in the wilderness. Even though it was high season, we hardly saw other tourists. A range of hiking terrains. Good stories on some of the history of Skye. Great accommodation and food.

Very helpful in all areas. Informative, obliging, considerate. I didn't feel they were just trying to sell me any tour. They were very considerate and thoughtful to point me into the right trip for my abilities.

Wow, the accommodations were excellent as was the food. The walks were beautiful and our guides were very knowledgeable.

Wilderness Scotland was so helpful before, during, and after the tour with quick responses and anticipating our needs.

It was fantastic - we had quite rainy weather but it made the quintessential Scottish holiday. Our guide, Gil, was absolutely fantastic. We covered a variety of routes, trails, and experiences in our week together - I learned so much about Skye and Scottish flora/fauna and history. It was an unforgettable adventure!! Highly recommend it to anyone for the scenery, experience, and nature.

Gil was outstanding - she was highly knowledgeable, flexible and attentive to all members of our group. She was also able to motivate all members of the group while remaining safety conscious and balance group needs and interests. She was an absolute sweetheart and I would go on ANY tour with her again!

A fabulous week of walking, combined with history, and amazing scenery.

Craig was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He made the week an absolute bonus.

We participated in a 6 day hiking trip on Skye that took in some of the many beautiful vistas that that part of Scotland has to offer.

Both our tour operator and guide were fantastic and greatly contributed to an enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend Wilderness Scotland to anyone contemplating a hiking trip to Scotland.

Excellent 7 Days walk on Isle of Skye

6-day walking / hiking on the Isle of Skye organized by Wilderness Scotland on 18-24 August, 2018.

I felt being taken good care of by Wilderness Scotland all the way from signing up to saying goodbye to our guide and fellow hikers. Wilderness Scotland was very responsive in helping me plan. Our guide was knowledgeable, experienced, and made our journey safe and enjoyable. We got to see the beautiful and less trodden part of Skye.
