Wonderful week of varied walks/hikes in the Cairngorms with excellent and knowledgeable guide. First rate food and accommodations. Small group of 8 people made the trip personal. Outstanding!

Wilderness Scotland arranged an excellent small group trip with an experienced guide, wonderful food and great accommodations. Their literature accurately described the trip and they were helpful in pre-trip planning.

We traveled to various places and had a guide in each of them . They were all great and passionate about their work.

This was a trip of a lifetime, it was more than I could have hoped for. The Cairngorms National Park and Royal Deeside was an amazing experience.

Wilderness Scotland took the guessing out of my trip. Having everything planned by someone else was the perfect choice for me. They did an excellent job.

I spent my birthday week hiking through Cairngorm National Park, booked through Wilderness Scotland. I am from the US and spent five months in Scotland - this was most definitely one of the highlight weeks. We were blessed with nearly perfect weather, and the sites and landscapes picked to be part of the week were varied, and lovely. The beauty of Scotland's landscapes takes my breath away, and I couldn't have given myself a better birthday gift.

Our guide, John, was attentive of all the members of our group and able to discern their needs and abilities with ease. He was extremely knowledgeable about the landscape, the geology and geography, and the history of the land.

A week of wonderful walks in a variety of Cairngorms settings including lochs, rivers, glens, lins, bothys, tracks, paths, level and mostly gradual ascents, occasionally rocky. We were very fortunate with the weather and midges (though those pesky critters found us anyway to some extent!). Our guide was terrific; the two bed and breakfasts were excellent with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. The group was small and compatible. It was a very worthwhile experience.

He was really terrific - great driver who taught us so much about Scotland and the Cairngorms. He knew the area very well and selected walks each day that were interesting and varied. He was flexible and able to be helpful to each one of our group. He's funny and real, knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciated having him as our guide for this trip. He even asked his wife for recipes for some of our favorite desserts and then shared the recipes with us.

A walking adventure week in the Cairngorms. We stayed in a beautiful lodge that had once been a stable but converted beautifully. Very comfortable place to come home to each evening. The days were spent hiking/exploring different parts of the Cairngorm National Park and Glen Feshie. A beautiful experience each day.

This was my second holiday adventure with Wilderness Scotland. Everything about it was top notch. The office staff handles the arrangements and happily answers questions, they are very helpful. The adventure itself was planned beautifully with a super comfortable and unique accommodation, excellent food and a stellar guide.

Lovely walks throughout the Caringorms National Park. Really great selection of offerings. Food and accommodation outstanding. Excellent guide with very good local knowledge of the area. Beautiful, beautiful settings and variety of walks to provide an overall excellent experience.

Everything from day one to day seven was perfect. Food, accommodations, choice of hikes, guide were all top notch. Even the weather was good!
