Ski Holiday in Trysil

A fantastic holiday in Trysil staying at the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort. A very convenient location for beginner/intermediate skiers with everything on site. Using the Ski-Norway exclusive ski school lessons were in small groups starting right outside the locker room. The hotel is remote, but it is peaceful and a free bus takes you to the other centres if you don't want to ski or walk.

From making the first enquiry through to arriving in the Resort, Ski-Norway could not have been more helpful. Hannah, the Resort rep was always around if you had questions both before we arrived and while we were there. Other members of the team were available too and always prompt replying to queries. Would highly recommend using this company and their services.

Family ski trip to Norway

The holday was excellent. The organisation was great from the moment of booking until the end of the holiday. I can't rate them enough. The flight, bus transfer, hotel was all excellent. I especially like to say thanks to Hannah, Megan and the ladies at thekids club. They were excellent. The kids loved them and they really put us all at ease. The ski classes were fantastic and onthe last 2 days we did some skiing with our 4 and 6 year old...who loved every minute. We all want to go back next year. The hotel was great, clean and delicious food.

Just perfect!

We are a family of four and the children hadn't been skiing for about six years. We had perfect snow conditions and the Hemsedal apartment was really comfortable and spacious. Although it was a little way away we were lucky to get a locker so we didn't have to walk with our kit. The children just had the best holiday ever and definitely want to return next year. I was amazed at how quickly their skiing and confidence improved during the course ...

Our tour operator was really helpful and friendly and although she didn't stay in Hemsedal it was easy to contact her by e-mail

Stress free, high quality, great value ski trip to Norway with SkiNorway

I travelled with my 6 year old boy to Trysil in Norway for his first ski holiday. We stayed at the Park Inn Mountain Resort which is located on the mountain. The location was recommended by SkiNorway as good for families. It was great. We had scheduled flights and a reasonable transfer. Our room was brilliant and located easily for ski hire, ski lockers, and ski school on the doorstep. The SkiNorway staff were very efficient and the ski school ...

Our room was brilliant and located easily for ski hire, ski lockers, and ski school on the doorstep. The SkiNorway staff were very efficient and the ski school was great fun for my son. The hotel was of a high standard with good facilities including an excellent pool, providing non-ski entertainment. The food was very good. All in all, it was an excellent holiday and we have rebooked for next year.

Rating for tour operator:

Great recommendation. Speedy and stress-free booking with a good personal service. Good resort staff made sure everything went smoothly. A pleasure to deal with.

A perfect first family ski holiday

The holiday itself was incredible and we would love to book again next year. We couldn't have asked for more for our first family ski holiday. We chose half board as we'd heard that Norway can be quite expensive. The hotel we stayed (Mountain Resort, Trysil) ticked all the boxes and with Ski Norway we had complimentary use of the spa and pool which was a huge bonus after a day on the slopes. The kids loved it. The skiing itself was great, ski in/ski out with plenty of good runs and good variety and quite often we'd be the only ones on the pistes. The area itself covered quite an extensive range. I personally felt the better skiing was on the other side of the mountain which was easy to get to via lifts etc but the childrens ski classes were on the hotel side. Our daughter(aged 7) was one of three in her class so by the end of the week was really quite competent, so much so I was able to take her out for a few hours on some good long runs. Our sons (aged 3) class again was also a small group. He took a few days to get into it but eventually he did and that was it. Next year he'll be all over it. Their lessons started at the hotel so no travelling involved which I think is great. Transfer to and from the hotel were a breeze. Great information handed out by the reps. We really couldn't fault anything about the trip. The price was comparable to going to the Alps, possibly even cheaper. We had guaranteed snow and absolutely no queues for the lifts. Perfect!

Rating for tour operator:

From our initial enquiry, right through to our booking and completion of the holiday everything was handled by Karen Nolan with the utmost professionalism. Nothing was too much and time was taken to explain every part of the holiday and what we could expect. Brilliant service.

Idyllic Noway

We have a great family holiday in the resort of Trysil in Norway. The slopes and instruction for beginners was fantastic (who know my 4 year old would be able to ski from the top of the mountain after just 4 days of lessons). Perfect ski in/ski out resort for beginners/intermediates

skiNorway who we travelled with went over an above the cause to make sure we had a great break - even when we have to delay 2 of the flights due to our child getting a virus. The rep in the resort was in contact a few times a day to make sure there were no issues and everyone had what they needed. Would 100% recommend!

Ski holiday with dedicated English speaking beginners classes

We spend our holiday at the Park Inn Trysil in a 2 bed self catering unit, though booked half board with the hotel. As beginner skiers it was a perfect location, plenty of varying length green and blue runs with lifts enabling you to go down both sides and the mountains and get back to your starting location. The Ski Norway ski school was fabulous. Small classes and all English speaking. Everyone went down red runs before the end of the week...

Ski Norway provided a brilliant service. They were helpful in suggesting a location to holiday and then providing an individual quote to suit our needs. They supplied plenty of information before travelling and were very prompt at emailing answers to all sorts of sundry queries I put their way. On site they were always around before and after ski school and were on the end of the phone if you needed them at odd times.

Great location for those who like straightforward unpretentious skiing

Trysil is a resort which has something for all levels of skier. Well groomed slopes, although the signage of different routes and pistes was very poor in places. The Park Inn resort provides fantastic accommodation and facilities but beware of taking the self-catering option as there is no supermarket on site or within walking distance, and the ski-bus runs very infrequently. The Park Inn resort provides fantastic accommodation and facilities but beware of taking the self-catering option as there is no supermarket on site or within walking distance, and the ski-bus runs very infrequently. Everyone we met made us feel very welcome and we felt surrounded by people who just wanted to ski and have a fun holiday. Probably not the best place if you are hoping for brilliant apres ski.

Very helpful and friendly service provided during the booking process and before the holiday. Brilliant in-house tuition programme with small group sizes and loads of fun for the kids.
