Trek through the stunning Langtang region of Nepal, staying in traditional tea houses and enjoying beautiful panoramic views.
A day’s drive north of Kathmandu, you will find the region of Langtang, a medley of lush valleys, not far from the Tibetan border. Although accessible, Langtang has remained a relatively less trekked area of Nepal.
In order to enter the upper reaches of the valley, it takes several days of scenic and exciting trekking. Upon arrival there will be both time to rest and enjoy a picturesque day walk to Lanshisa Karkha before continuing your trek past the holy lake of Gosainkund and then crossing the Laurebina La 4,610m/15,124ft. There should be fantastic views of Tibet and the chance to meet Hindu pilgrims, before steadily making your way down into the pretty Helambu region. This area is well-known for its rhododendrons in the spring, panoramic vistas and superb ridge walking.
