Experience Morocco

We flew into Marrakesh from Lisbon and from the moment we arrived until we were dropped off a week later we had a great time. We started in Marrakesh, were driven out the Draa Valley, spend the night and drove to the desert where we stayed in a "luxury" tent. Back to Marrakesh for two nights then went to Sidi Kaouki on the beach. We felt the people were nice, friendly, spoke French and many spoke English and were always helpful.

We worked with Fleewinter and Barbara Podbial. We found her and FleeWinter when we reached out directly to Rebali Riad and once she learned what we were doing offered assistance and guidance and did a great job of helping us.

Fascinating

Sadly we’re were both unwell - I spent 5 days in bed and did not feel well for the entire trip. That aside we tried to make the best of the trip which was well organised by Fleewinter and the local company Destinations Unlimited who were very helpful when we had to change our plans slightly. Fascinating country, really interesting.

Tour operators at both ends very helpful - Destinations unlimited very accommodating when we needed to make changes and also when we had a problem with some items we bought in a local shop in Delhi.

exceeded our expectations

Exhilarating, sun, spices, life. Morocco is an interesting country so different from the UK yet only 3 and a half hours away in the same time zone.So much more to it than desert and camels. We enjoyed meeting people, learning about different cultures and watching life go by, it made us think how trivial some of our perceived problems are.

I had never heard of Fleewinter before researching holidays to Morocco. I was a little hesitant about using a company I'd never heard of before - how wrong could I be? Anna was helpful, quick to answer emails and, when we changed our minds, she rearranged all that she had previously arranged until we were completely happy with our itinerary. It was great knowing that there was someone in the background while we were actually on holiday too. Anna was able to adjust a taxi transfer at the last minute for us. She made us feel very relaxed about our holiday. The moment we returned home I was busy exploring the Fleewinter website to see where we could go next!

Magical time in Vietnam

We traveled for 2+ weeks in Japan and 1 week in Vietnam. The 3+week trip was in celebration of my husband's 60 birthday and it was GREAT. In Japan we explored Tokyo, Kanazawa, Takayama, Nara, Kurashiki, Naoshima, and Kyoto. For Japan we made our own travel arrangements as we thoroughly enjoy researching the country we're going to explore, for Vietnam we used Fleewinter. For Japan we made our own travel arrangements as we thoroughly enjoy researching the country we're going to explore, for Vietnam we used Fleewinter. For Vietnam we had - 2 full days to tour in and around Hanoi - 3 days/2 nights to relax with a cruise on Bai Tu Long Bay - with one last night in Hanoi flying back to Toronto the next day. The cruise was intended to wind down from our Japan/Vietnam travels and it was the perfect ending to our trip.

Rating for tour operator:

We arrived in Vietnam with our travel arrangements fully coordinated by Fleewinter. It was flawless and we felt totally taken care of throughout the entire week. We usually arrange our own travel (that's 1/2 the fun) but after our experience in Vietnam, I think we'll be using Fleewinter for our next big trip. Fleewinter (Delia) really understood how we like to travel and we truly felt that we got the most our of our time in Vietnam - thanks to Delia's expertise.

The best of Morocco is the culture, I wish our agency was more open to suggesting activities that will get us closer to that

Morocco is a great country that could be enjoyed best when having experiences that will get you close to the real people and their life. Not just the touristy things. Landscapes are amazing and photography dedicated tours should be offered by savvy agencies.

Little attention to detail or willingness to understand the kind of experience we wanted to have, so we dint received enough worthy of paying an agency suggestions or recommendations of activities

A fantastic holiday with a great travel company!

Hanoi was a city full of bustling activity. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The walking back street tour was great and we thoroughly enjoyed Chi's personal perspective. The cruise around Halong bay was relaxing and the Junk boat catered to our every need - the cabins were very comfortable and the tour guide Ducky was a mine of information! We will be back!
