Morocco Beach Holiday by Ceri, 1 Feb 2018

Fabulous.

We stayed at Rebali Riads, Sidi Kaouki, Morocco. We have been going there for the past 6 years, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. Can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing and it's the most relaxing holiday I've ever had. Nothing is too much trouble.

Well organised, fantastic time.

Daphne was excellent in putting together a perfect trip for us, incorporating all the things we wanted to do...and doing it rather with one hand tied behind her back....as I'm sure we were difficult to accommodate, with the chaos of our lives preventing easy communication/instructions. If Daphne is representative of Fleewinters standards, then the rating is excellent for the Tour Operator as a whole.

Stunning South Africa

An amazing first trip to South Africa trip - we have had the most wonderful 3 centre holiday. Accommodation in all 3 places was great , Cape Town was non stop with so many places to visit, Franschhoek lovely and relaxing and then finally the Safari at Nottens , which was just out of this world - we couldn’t believe how welcoming the staff were , how good the food was and finally how exciting the Game Drives were - we didn’t want to come home!

Sri Lanka Classic Tour by BigIan279, 9 Jan 2018

A lot of Good and a little Bad

During our two week holiday we stayed in 5 different locations four of which ranged from the fantastic to the very good, sadly one was clean but very basic and extremely difficult to get to. Although we had been to Sri Lanka before and traveled extensively, the car journeys this time seemed much longer and uncomfortable. But that is the price you pay for some of the most stunning scenery I have ever witnessed from Mountains to Jungle to Seashore ...

Very efficient and seemed to have deep knowledge of Sri Lanka. Very communicative, I thought they'd understood our requirements, which in the main they did, but was let down on a few things.

Thank you for your feedback. I am delighted you had a lovely time but at the same time wish we had opted for a different accommodation style to the one guesthouse you have mentioned. I also wish I had been able to reduce journey times or try to tweak things so your journeys were more manageable but you are right sometimes these lovely places are very difficult to access. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Fleewinter responded to this review on 09 Jan 2018:

Thank you and I apologise for the double beds when twin beds were requested. I had included this prerequisite when confirming the rooms initially but this doesn't seem to have been acknowledged by the hotels.

Lovely locals, stunning scenery and wonderful guides - superb itinerary.

We packed an enormous amount into a 12 night stay with a fabulous itinerary that included simply wonderful sites and experiences. We are a family of 4 with two children aged 12 and 10. The guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable with comfy cars and safe drivers. We questioned tours starting at 4.30am and 5am but were thrilled to be included in the offering of ‘alms’ to the Monks in Luang Prabang and watch the sunrise over the Mekong River ...

The guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable with comfy cars and safe drivers. We questioned tours starting at 4.30am and 5am but were thrilled to be included in the offering of ‘alms’ to the Monks in Luang Prabang and watch the sunrise over the Mekong River and Champasak from Wat Phou. Our guides arranged for us to meet locals in their houses and dine at very local ‘restaurants’. Lots of people rave about Luang Prabang and we will as well. Thank you to the lovely people of Laos with their gorgeous smiles, peaceful ways and terrific hospitality.

Rating for tour operator:

Delia at Fleewinter has designed or worked with her colleagues for five tours for us over the last couple of years which speaks for itself. Six locations in 12 days, we covered a lot and went from a temple visit to the airport so as not to waste a second. As the tours are tailor made with private guides you can tweak the itinerary as you go so although you do so much it is at your own speed which is fabulous.
