For many years we hire a mobile home through Venue Holidays on camping Playa Brava in Spain. It was always easy to book. Customer Service is quick and polite. During Covid in 2020 we accepted a voucher and got even 10% extra as a gift. This year we used the voucher and the gift. In the middle of a lockdown and they refuse to either supply us with a voucher or simply push back our holiday a further 12 months. Blunt email saying pay the entire holiday upfront and we’ll have a place for you in 12 months. Terrible customer service, they don’t seem to care that there’s a pandemic and we’re all in lockdown. I’m going to consumer affairs AVOID Venue Holidays at all costs...

Venue Holidays customer service a joke. Public Health doesn't seem to matter.

We stayed at Domaine de la Yole - France. Great campsite, lots of activities for the children, well located and clean caravans. Absolutely a great holiday !

We booked a vacation with Venue Holiday at a campsite in France - Domaine de la Yole. Marc and Andrea were really helpfull, friendly and nice people. Could certainly not complain; clean caravan furfilling our expectations. Thanks for a great holiday! Will probably be rejoining you next year!

We stayed at Ca' Savio in Italy with Venue Holidays and i honestly could not reccommend it enough! Fabulous reps who are so welcoming and will do anything to help you out aswell as great accomodation!

This June will be our third holiday with Venue. We are returning to Park Albatraz in Tuscany and we are really looking forward to it. The campsite is excellent for families with amazing pools,lovely playground,good variety of restaurants & bars,super energetic and imaginative entertainment team and well laid out site. Our venue reps, Cally and Georgina were really helpful and had lovely bubbly personalities. We arrived on site late which was no problem for Cally who gave us a very warm welcome & both girls were always on hand throughout our stay for anything we needed. Our mobile was well located,close to all the amenities,and as with our previous holiday, was spotless. We also stayed in Raguenes in France where the Venue reps were equally as friendly and helpful. This is our first time to return to the same campsite. This is due to loving the resort itself and Venue making it affordable and such a nice experience from the staff we booked with to the reps who look after us on site. Would highly recommend Venue. Venue are an excellent company to deal with. Their prices are very reasonable. Their mobiles are spotless and having stayed in two styles, are all well equipped. The administrative staff and reps on site are very obliging and friendly.

We stayed at the Girasole campsite at Figline near Florence Italy. This is one of the best campsites We have ever stayed at and this is probably 8 times now we have stayed there. Nice relaxed campsite, great scenery with three great restaurants on site and two very large pool complexes

Venue Holidays are a smaller family run campsite holiday company and it shows. We have used them every year for probably about 10 years now and they always offer competitive prices and really care about their clients. Their new mobile are superb.

We used Venue Holidays to book this years family holiday. The booking team were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We stayed at Oree du Bois and even though we were late arriving at the site, we were welcomed by the on site Venue representative, who spent time explaining what was on the site and the local attractions, as well as other invaluable information. The rep was readily available throughout our stay at the site. The site had everything that you needed and had a very relaxed atmosphere. The site staff were friendly and helpful. A very well stocked and reasonably priced shop is also situated on the site. The swimming pools and facilities were spotless and there was plenty to keep all the children entertained. So much to do outside the site, that we will be returning next year.

Venue Holidays were very helpful from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble. The booking team and site reps are an asset to Venue Holidays.

We have Ben Venue customers for several years. This was our first far away stay with children and having stayed with Venue before were are preferred choice. We stayed at Marina DI Venezia, near Venice. In all we had a lovely holiday. The only hassle throughout was that our air conditioning unit did not work. On handover albeit brief the air con unit was switched on in our presence, It would have been better if switched on in advance it would have been much cooler and also prove it. Did not work. It never did and our holiday was spoiled somewhat, we tried not to let this issue spoil it, but the cabin was like an oven with full direct sun exasperating the problem. It took 8 days before unit was fixed. We bought an air conditioned unit and didn't get that. Stiff upper lip etc and complaining each day but no resolve locally. They did provide a portable unit which was broken and useless. The children did suffer as sleeping was uncomfortable in the heat of Italy. While not resolved locally we complained as per company charter on return and we're awarded £200 compensation. This fell short of extra expense such as eating out as couldn't put oven on etc or shower as that would increase heat in cabin. However, the appliances were working so apparently our choice. Try that with a 11 and 8 year old. Anyway compensation accepted. Venue our a lovely company, used before without incident, this time however, couldn't help us and I felt we were not important enough to help, plenty of cabins free so would have happily had a spare cabin for a night just for the air con but not possible with Venue. I would use venue again but we will stick with west coast of France in future as before.

See comments above. Didn't feel a valued customer. While we accepted that Italy had bank holidays which exasperated problem by not having local a technicians available we were palmed off to just put up with it. The on site staff were apologetic but when you can't get a good night sleep and you have paid for it, A bit more could have been done. I expected my 11 year led and 8 year old to be British and put up with issue but venue could have applied the same determination to find alternative accommodation. They didn't. Cabins were free but so were cabins by other operators.

We have recently come back from a family holiday to Marina di Venezia nr Venice. If you can cope with living in a version of the Truman Show- everything is all a bit officious, they even hoover the windmills on the mini golf!- then you'll enjoy it. We stayed in one of their tents and, to tell you the truth, it was a bit basic. Equipment was pretty sparse and we only received one sun lounger, which was a real pain. Despite a 'strict' noise policy after 11, we had 6 nights of really poor sleep owing to incredibly noisy neighbours. The Venue reps tried to sort it out but it didn't improve. Camp security was very ineffective also. The site is very well-equipped- massive (over 3000 pitches) and with yellowcaps everywhere, officiously telling you off at every turn. Pool complex and the restaurants are lovely, however. For us it was all a bit over-organised, slightly sterile and we won't be hurrying back.

Despite not having had 50% of decent nights' sleep during our holiday, Venue have decreed that they had done their bit and that security should ultimately done more. Having been to sites with key Camp, Canvas and Eurocamp, Venue compare very favourably price-wise. However, we were surprised to be surrounded by big groups of German and Dutch campers for most of our stay who have a very different attitude regarding respecting camp rules. I am a fluent German speaker who has lived in the Netherlands, so have no axe to grind against other nations. Needless to say, I am convinced that the affordabilty of Venue is reflected in the types of overseas customers who must book with Venue. We have complained to Venue and are flabbergasted at their arrogance when replying.

Family holiday in a mobile home in St Hilaire de Riez, France. 90% French site with only (as far as I could see) Venue also there. Mainly French privately owned or tourers. Water park with 3 slides, and a toddler section attached to the main communal pool. Slides kept my 3 kids aged 15, 15 and 10 entertained. Mobile homes in a good size pitch and all pitches have shrubbery screening from the next van, which is good. Mobile was well equipped, having 3 bedrooms and one shower and one toilet. We lived outside when eating etc, which was great. Mobiles come with a bbq. A very relaxing and enjoyable holiday was had by all my family. Will definitely use Venue again and would recommend highly.

Venue Holidays- this is the first time I have used them, having been recommended to them by a friend who has used in the past. From first contact when equiring, to booking, to change of vehicle, had superb customer service. The reps on the site, Neil and Marie, were great, friendly and knowledgeable. Very pleased with our first experience of Venue and will definitely use again.
