Wonderful Adventure Walking St Cuthbert's Way

This is the second holiday we have booked through Mickledore. The planning and preparation was spot on. The walk went smoothly. We met some amazing people en-route. The walking was great. The accommodation was overall really good. Luggage pick-up went smoothly. Overall a very stress free experience. The climax was walking the Pilgrim's Route from the mainland to Lindisfarne in bare feet!

ANOTHER AMAZING WALKING HOLIDAY

We walked St Cuthberts Way from Melrose in the Scottish Borders to Holy Island. A holiday that was both energetic and relaxing plus full of amazing scenery and interesting ancient buildings.

Wonderful walking holiday, well planned and organised. Couldn't ask for more

We had a wonderful walking holiday. Everything was very well planned and organised. The distances to cover each day were thought out - with demanding days followed by less demanding days. They had anticipated every need, including a couple of taxi runs when we stayed off the route. All info and backup materials excellent. Couldn't ask for more

No worries

St Cuthbert s way with luggage transport was perfect! Great stays in Kirk Yetholm, Wooler and Lindisfarne itself. All organised for me complete with guidebook and maps.

Excellent trip to the Scottish Borders and Northumberland

It was a 7 day walking holiday from Melrose in Scotland to Holy Island in Northumberland. Beautiful landscopes and panorama’s. Very good accomodations and nice restaurants on the way. We were very pleased with our room with a view in our hotel on Holy Island.

A hassle-free holiday experience leaving me free to relax

I took a week-long walking holiday along the St Cuthbert's Way, through the Scottish Border starting at Melrose and finishing at Holy Island off the Northumberland coast. The sense of peace and seclusion was welcome after a year of working 6-day weeks in hectic environments - with the bonus of decent B&B's or hotels at the end of each day's walk.

Renewing, beautiful and Enriching

My wife and I came from America on a spiritual renewal leave and took the St. Cuthbert's Way. This was our very first walking holiday. Every landscape was picture-worthy, and it was a great way to not only see the Scottish and English countryside, but to have some quality time together in the quiet beauty of the country.

We stayed at high quality hotels and Bed and Breakfasts, enjoyed warm hospitality, and wonderful food. St Cuthbert‘s Way

The route was broken up into easily walked sections. When ending at a village without accommodation the organised taxi service was excellent. All accommodation booked by Mickledore was good. We had a delightfully, memorable holiday.
