Become a mountaineering expert with three exciting days of expert guided Alpine adventure with glacier skills training, via ferrata and an ascent of a stunning 4,000m peak.

    Based at the scenic Swiss village of Saas Grund you begin with skills training on the Trift Glacier under the close supervision of your expert leader, Kevin O'Neale. Here you will learn or refresh crampons and ice-axe skills before moving over snowy mountain terrain whilst roped up, and finishing with some thrilling real crevasse rescue practice. After refining your skills, you complete a via ferrata ascent of the Jegihorn, combining easy scrambling with wire ladders and outstanding wire bridge crossings. Fully acclimatised, you climb to the strikingly located Hohsaas mountain hut before making your ascent of the Weissmies, 4,017m/13,179ft rewarded by breathtaking, panoramic views from the summit.
