Sri Lankan Family Adventure

Sri Lankan Family Adventure Overview

An action packed holiday perfect for adventurous families with teenage children. An exciting mix of serious adventure; think animal safari and water fun with a hint of luxury! This trip is ideal for families who enjoy a busy holiday, who like to get off the beaten tourist trail, and who would like to experience something of the ‘real’ Sri Lanka.

Head off the tourist trail in Sri Lanka, on an action packed family adventure taking in the country's wildlife, history and sheer wilderness. Your tour will take you to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka's largest park and home to elephant, leopard and sloth bear, the Cultural Triangle and the iconic Sigiriya Rock and Gathering of the elephants at Minneriya National Park. Heading further off the beaten path, experience the traditional life of the locals in the isolated Knuckles Mountain Range with Grandma and Grandpa at their simple home stay, before heading to Kithugala for an adrenalin filled stay including white water rafting and canyoning in the Kelani River. Heading out of the tea-clad hills, your tour will end with some time for rest and relaxation in your own private villa by the beach just outside of the iconic Galle Fort on Sri Lanka's south coast. This tour takes in some of Sri Lanka's most unique and adventurous locations, all the while being very family friendly for children eight years and above.
